This first method will allow you to disable DEP in all Windows programs and services. To do this, open the command line prompt as an administrator in Windows 8 or 8.1. At the command prompt, type “bcdedit.exe” /set current.nx AlwaysOff, and hit Enter. After that, restart your computer. DEP will be disabled the next time you log into this system.

You can also use Windows + R as a keyboard shortcut. Enter the command in the dialog box mdsched.exe, and then press the Enter key.
