Beginner tips

1. Buy AK-74M as Russian and M4A1 PIP as American as soon as you can, as well as any cheap scope for them. Default guns you start with are rather difficult to aim and cannot equip any scopes, so the above upgrade is strongly recommended, and cheap. Each of these guns is $25,000 + $10,000 for a scope, so equipping for both sides is $70,000 in total. 
 
2. Unlock perks. First perk is free, second perk is for $10,000, so unlock it as soon as you get it, and third perk is $100,000, so get it after you buy before mentioned weapons. 
 
3. Try to stay in the AO (the yellow zone on the map) as much as you can at the beginning, at least until you reach level 20, so you unlock many useful perks and uniforms.

You additionally unlock enemy faction’s weapons past level 40. The unlocks are at 40 + weapon_level. For example, to unlock M4A1 PIP for Russian side you need to be level 43 (40 + 3), and to unlock AK-103 for Americans you need to be level 68 (40 + 28).
