• This is one of the most difficult locations in SoL. This location is known for disappearing completely for the rest of the game after you look at Mr. Borge’s daughter. This location will randomly be found while you’re walking in Grey County.

  

  This guide will show you how to explore the Borgehouse and walk you through how to get each item.

Rewards

Getting all the items in the house in one play-through is impossible. You have only one chance to win each game, so knowing which routes offer different rewards is important.

It is important to remember that if you look at your daughter at any time (, except for a very specific moment), it will result in your being You are immediately expelled and banished from your house for the remainder of the game No matter how much progress you have made, it is still essential to follow the directions. Path A rewards (getting the towel)

• farm towel (offhand) – Heals your character only for 2X Moxie A17Y and cures all Negative status effects on your character. (once per fight) 40 Meat)

Path B (, ignore the towel, get the barrels)

 

• 150-lb bag sugar (quest item)
• Spaghetti strand (food):+1 Muscle, +5 Cold Armor
• baby bottle (miscellaneous) – Sell it
• A farmer’s amaro +2 Max AP: (potion)
• 45 XP
• 50 Meat

 

Path C (leaving the towel behind and going for the jewelry)

• 150-lb bag sugar (quest item)
• Spaghetti strand (food):+1 Muscle, +5 Cold Armor
• baby bottle (miscellaneous) – Sell it (for Meat)
• A farmer’s amaro +2 Max AP: (potion)
• 25 XP
• farmer’s daughter’s necklace 22A17579384A 22A17579384A 22A17579384A +6 Spooky Armor (is sold for 70 meat)

You can choose your route by completing the next section. Once that section is finished, jump to the section that includes the route you want to use to raid the house.

(Paths A-B and C to get started)

• The dialogue choices are not crucial for the first part. As long as you get into the house (without much resistance), most of the dialogue choices won’t matter. If you have not completed the Ocean City baker questline yes (, or would like extra copies) of quest items, choose option [3] to request some sugar. You can still find the same bag of Sugar in Ocean City, even if it is not available (.

  

  Mr. Borge will explain that you cannot see his daughter when you enter the house.

  This means you can’t use any directional key your daughter has relative to your character. DO NOT PRESS A/Left arrow or click on the left-hand side of the screen. You can continue reading this section until you leave your daughter’s bedroom!

  Now that you are confident move to the right, between the sink and the fireplace, and open the door.

  

• Navigate through the bathroom to the bedroom for the girl:

  

• You must walk towards the bed (to cover the girl on-screen), then inch on the right until you can reach and interact with the farmoile:

  

  (She rarely responds to your comments outside of body language). Most of the dialogue options are pointless. You can find the key inside the lamp at the farmoile by selecting the following dialogue options.

1. [2] Ask her if she needs assistance with the lamp
2. [2] Light the lamp
3. [2] Open the lamp
4. [3] Close the armorie doors

The thing about Mr. Borge’s condition is that you are not allowed to see his child’s face. It’s okay to turn around if she’s not there. Before you go towards the front door, make sure the girl is behind the frame. DO NOT GO FOR THE JAWELRY BOX ON RIGHT. SHE WILL INSHOUT AND MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO GO FOR HER DOOR.

You will be back in the same room as when you left it. Just take the door. You will need to carefully move across the left side, picking up the baby bottle and spaghetti as you go. DO NOT PRESS D/Right arrow or click on the right-hand side of the screen. Continue until you reach Mr. Borge’s room! :

Make sure you grab 2 (when you pick up the spaghetti
EVER HIT 1 UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE

Take the bottle:

Re-enter the bathroom door

This time, you’ll have to turn left. To get the thin key, move one inch toward the David bust.

 

• To unlock the room of Mr. Borge, use both the thin key you just received and the lamp key you got from the girl’s lamp.

  

• To grab the potion, inspect the bed.

  

  

 

• You can reach for your telephone, but it doesn’t have any significance (. At least, what I can tell you) is not important. Regardless, You must try to open the wardrobe.

  

 

Then will you hear (from your daughter and be reward with 25 XP). She will tell you not to believe everything her father says. This will free you from her reality-warping gaze while in this room (i.e. You must not leave the room until you have taken/ignored your towel). . It doesn’t matter what your choices are in this dialogue so walk away. Interacting with the wardrobe keeps her in place.

• Talk to the girl and get the key from her (. It doesn’t matter how you do it, as she will return to being quiet and nonresponsive).

  

• To open the wardrobe, use the key of your daughter to reveal the towel stash.

  

 

 

There are three possible routes that you could consider:

Take the towel (/A)

• After unlocking the wardrobe, you can choose any dialogue option to continue your conversation. She will tell you that you cannot see Mr. Borge beside his daughter if you take the towel. This effectively locks you out of the entire house except the exit. You’re here to get the towel. Please call [1]. Take the towel.

  

  

• Both Mr. Borge and your daughter will greet you as you head toward the door.

  

  

Towel (Path B)

• After unlocking the wardrobe, you can choose any dialogue option to continue your conversation. She will tell you that you cannot see Mr. Borge besides his daughter if you take the towel. This effectively locks you out of the entire house except the exit. You’re not here to grab a towel but to explore the rest. [2] Don’t take the towel! :

  

  

• You can unlock the other door and return to the main living area. You are now not allowed to see Mr. Borge’s daughter after you have left his bedroom. NEVER TURN LEFT (Press A/Left Arrow/click the left side on the screen) to continue this section! . Continue past Mr. Borge until reaching the three barrels to the right of the room.

  

• The leftmost barrel is empty, so go to the middle for 20XP.

  

• For 50 Meat, look at the rightmost barrel:

  

  

• Finally, you will be forced to the corner and banished from home.

Take the jewelry (path C)

After unlocking the wardrobe, you can continue your conversation by selecting any dialogue option. She will tell you that if you take the towel, you will be unable to see Mr. Borge next to his daughter. You are locked out of the entire house except for the exit. You came here to get the necklace, not the towel. Don’t throw in the towel! :

You can unlock the other door and return to the main living area. You are now not allowed to see Mr. Borge’s daughter after you have left his bedroom. NEVER TURN LEFT (Press A/Left Arrow/click the left side on the screen) to continue this section! Continue past Mr. Borge until reaching the (door to the girl’s bedroom located right next to the) portrait.

You can find the green velvet jewelry box in the lower right corner of your room.

The necklace (is not a stopper, regardless of your choices)

You have been trapped in a corner (). Now, you can either look at the girl) or move towards the mirror (. This will allow for a more humorous interaction and) will be banished from your home.

Banishment

It is interesting that if you grab the towel and then look at Mr. Borge’s daughter) simultaneously, the house will still have two stones instead of one.

After agreeing to the terms not to look at Mr. Borge:

You can look at your daughter anytime before or after you grab the towel.
