    My Thoughts

At first, this perk may not seem like a simple, yet profitless, although this is not the case…Alert is a very informational perk, it can help survivors plan their next move. If you’re in a chase, survivors can see the killer’s next move, making it easier for them to mind-game and loop, making them last longer.

Great Skill Checks cannot be preformed while using

  • Autodidact is not active when using a Med-Kit to heal.

There’s no limit to what you can achieve, as long as you back it up with hard work. – Adam Francis

This perk can be unlocked at Level 40 on Adam Francis.

How This Activates

When healing a fellow survivor, when granted a skill check, and you successfully hit it…you will receive a token that can add up to 5 tokens, and will each give you a 15% healing bonus when healing survivors, these all add up to 45% bonus.

[Don’t quote me on the 45% bonus.]

My Thoughts

If you get the first two skill checks out of the way, it rely’s a bit on the RNG…but this perk can be very beneficial when used properly. Incredibly for healing survivors who’ve been hooked, slugged, or in the end-game. Personally, I would use this perk with Second Wind.

Description

You have learnt to avoid awkward situations with parents. Part of you still thinks your best option is to run away and hope things will take care of themselves.
When you have healed other Survivors for the equivalent of one Health State, Second Wind activates.

  • While Second Wind is activated, the next time you are unhooked or unhook yourself, you are affected by the Broken Status Effect.
  • After a total duration of 28/24/20 seconds, Second Wind automatically heals you from Injured to the Healthy State.

Second Wind deactivates once you are completely healed or if you are put into the Dying State before Second Wind successfully triggers.

  • You will lose the Broken Status Effect once Second Wind deactivates.

Second Wind does not activate if you are already affected by the Broken Status Effect.

Yeah, that’s a no. – Steve Harrington

This perk can be unlocked at Level 40 on Steve Harrington.

How This Activates

After healing a survivor a full health-state, [Injured to Healthy, Dying to Injured] Second Wind activates…when you’re unhooked or you unhook yourself, you are given the Broken Status Effect for a certain amount of time, and once that is over you will become fully healed.

My Thoughts

Honestly, I use this perk soooo much in-game and it’s actually better than it seems. This perk automatically heals you after being unhooked, so you don’t have to worry about being healed and do a generator for the time being. Although, tunneling killers can counter this perk it’s still very effective, personally, I would use this perk with Autodidact

My Thoughts

Windows Of Opportunity is a very informational perk for chases, this perk can be used when not knowing a map and chaining together loops, windows, and pallets…I especially believe this perk could be used more and even slightly changed a bit to where it’s more effective.

Description

“Getting close to the Killer fills you with determination.
For each 15 seconds you are standing within the Killer’s Terror Radius and are not in a chase, you gain a Token up to a maximum of 2/3/4 Tokens.
When Stake Out has at least 1 Token, Good Skill Checks are considered Great Skill Checks, consume 1 Token, and grant an additional Progression bonus of 1%.”

I had you, I had you on your knees. You’re runnin’ scared because we had you. We’re gonna close this case!” – Detective David Tapp

This perk can be unlocked at Level 40 on Detective David Tapp.

How This Activates

Whenever you’re in the Killer’s Terror Radius, [Heart-beat Sound] you gain a Token, that can be added up to 4 Tokens, Good Skill-Checks are then turned into Great Skill Checks and each-token grants up to an additional 1% bonus on the generator.

Dead by Daylight - Underrated Perks - What They Do/Use Them Effectively

My Thoughts

This perk may not seem very decent, since it only gives a 1% progression bonus…it’s actually more effective than it seems. Stake Out is useful when gen-rushing, in a three-gen, or when a killer is camping a certain generator. I rarely see this being used, and it create a bad game into a totally different game when used.
