Terraria – How to get the rod of discord in Hardmode

It would be best if you were on Hardmode first before you can read this guide.

 

Step 1 : You must go to a hallowed underground biome.

Step 2 : Build a box that is at least 100×100 and preferably 150×150. Be sure to use a block of a hollow kind and finish the box. (DO NOT break the background and replace it with your walls. Monsters will not spawn.)

Step 3 : build platforms from the end to the opposite end. On the middle platform, you should have a five-block extended area.

Step 4 – you need to get some items to increase monster spawn rates. You can find them all over the dungeon. To get a bigger boost, make a battle potions (recipe: Bottled water with deathweed and rotten piece).

Step 5 : if you wish to go afk, you must have a decent item to summon. Any after-golem is fine, but the stardust will do.

Step 6 : the drop rate for the rod discord is 1/500 when in normal mode and 1/400 when in an expert. I believe it’s 1/300 on master, but it could be the same as expert.

Step 7 – After you obtain the rod of Discord, defeat Moonlord. But if you’ve already done that, you can skip this step.

Step 8 : once you have defeated the ML go to the Ocean on the same side of the Jungle and dig straight 10-20 blocks below the ocean water

Step 9 : It may not be directly there but look around. Near the jungle, there’s a glowing/purplish lake. Do not dive in as you will fall to the bottom until there is a flat surface.

Step 10 : Drop the rods discord in. It will now become the rods harmony. You can teleport with it indefinitely.
