Hi, welcome to this post, We hope you find the following page, in which we detail the Company of Heroes 3 – How to Unlock Sweet VictoryAchievement Guide, informative.

Procedure (How to proc the accomplishment)

Naples.

Naples is where the story’s side missions and the majority of dialogue will begin.

A decision will need to be made after you begin your campaign about where to travel (Naples. Foggia. Potenza). In my situation, I selected Naples and went to Potenza before capturing Naples. The American General makes a short statement about it. That’s all that matters. The bottom line is that I took Barletta before I took Naples.

After capturing Barletta, my company was nearing full health. So I marched into a bunker with machine guns nearby to the West. And then I retreated so that I could be near Barletta.

Naples is likely to be the trigger in this case. It must be captured before Barletta or Bari.

My order of action was as follows:

1. Salerno.

2. Salerno’s surrounding area (3 villages)

3. Defend Salerno.

Here’s a note to say that I let my city be attacked rather than meet the Germans on the ground. You’re basically asking for the “Defend”, text to be removed from above the name of town. Before I even finished this part of the area, I recruited two companies.

4. Tell the Generals I am going straight to Naples.

5. Go straight to Potenza.

6. Potenza can be captured (and at a later point, defended).

7. Capture Montella.

8. Capture Naples.

9. Capture Spinazzola by putting some airborne in.

10. Capture Bari via an airborne parachuted company dropped from Spinazzola.

11. Tell the British general you’re going to use your men on front lines.

12. Capture Laterza in my new armored company

13. Capture Grumo utilizing the airborne Ipara dropped on Bari.

14. Capture Altamura, with the armored companies.

14. Capture Molfetta in the airborne.

15. Capture Barletta, using the same aerial company. Hope they are carrying some damage at this stage. Move your free ship from British Loyalty Rewards out of the harbor (even 1 buoy will do).

16. I have marched British armour here to a rendezvous near Barletta in order to mop the company which popped up.

17. The airborne in my case did not have enough damage, so I marched the troops up to a bridge and then back down once they were hit.

18. Waited at least two turns.

19. Ice cream prompt pops. I moved my boat back to my own harbor (if your ship wasn’t free, then you could use the Dakota class you started with to transfer harbours).

20. Another turn is coming.

21. The British General remarks about the Ice Cream.

22. Move the airborne unit to Barletta

23. Press the End Turn button.

One thing to keep in mind is that you can get side missions over your ice cream prompt if you let all dialogue complete before pressing on “end turn”.

You can now also wait for Bari get bombed in order to achieve the “Cover up achievement.” Don’t intervene, just let the generals argue and Bari will be bombed. You’ll need to keep some troops close by as the timer is set. Once you have spent 3 turns with your company in Bari, this achievement is yours.
