Absolutely all information you need for the medical assistance of your beloved humans. Medical guide for the treatment of Humans (not Androids, pals)

Information

In this guide I will show you how you properly treat injured (or dying) Humans, how you do first aid to them and how you surge them, if neccessary. Have fun, doctor!

I don’t use the Life Syringe for roleplay reasons at any time in this guide.

First Aid to Humans

The First Aid is basically the most important thing you need to do to save a humans life. It insolves some non-medical actions, like the rescue of a injured person from a danger zone, but it also involves first very significant proceedings which I go later on.

1. Rescue the human

This part is self-explanatory. Before you start any medical treatment, rescue the human at all cost – protect them from gun fire, extinquish their burnings or do whatever is neccessary to protect the human against further damage.

Check the vital functions

Check the human – is he standing or lying? Does he bleeds? If yes, use the bandage as soon as possible and treat the blood loss. You can find the bandage in the rope menu.

IMPORTANT: Bandage every bleeding limb!

This is the most important thing and problem at the same time – the most dangerous situation will be always the blood loss. If the human is bleeding, bandage him as soon as possible.

You can find the bandage at the Tool Menu (press TAB if you don’t see it). Look at the picture for further information:

If you did everything properly and the human isn’t dead, he will be save for now. Now we continue with the Advanced Medical Aid.

Advanced Medical Aid to Humans

Now things getting serious. At this period of time, we’d only some basic medical treatment. We don’t have any information about the exact medical status of our human, nor we know if he isn’t actually dead.

1. Connect a heart monitor to the human

This is very important and should be done after the bandage treatment (if it was neccessary). The heart monitor will show you the BPM (beats per minute). This is a good indicator to check the exact health status of our human.

People Playground - Medical Guide + First Aid to Humans - Advanced Medical Aid to Humans - 54A4AC6

Rule of thump:

1. The lower the BPM is, the greater the blood loss.

2. High BPMs aren’t dangerous at all.

3. A human has regulary a BPM of 70

4. At a BPM of 40 or lower, the human will be unconcious.

5. The longer the human is dead (BPM < 1) and the treatment is delayed, the lower the chance of success.

The first point is very important, because it will show us if a blood transfusion is indicated or not.

To connect a heart monitor, select the blood vessel wire and connect it with the heart monitor and any limb of your injured human (I prefer the chest, but you can connect it with the feet if you want). Now, press F to activate the monitor.

People Playground - Medical Guide + First Aid to Humans - Advanced Medical Aid to Humans - CF670AA

If the human has a BPM of under 1, he is dead and you need to start the reanimation immediately. In the other case, a blood transfusion is indicated (see Step 2 for further information).

1.1 Don’t lose time and use the Defibrillator

If the heart monitor shows a flatline (BPM < 1, like I said), you’re in deep trouble. Now you need to use a Defibrillator as soon as possible. Get one from the Machinery Tab and connect the electrodes (the two loosy goosies) with the chest of your human. If the dead occured as a result of blood loss, the chance is very high that your human will have a BPM of more than 60 for about two seconds, only to die the second after.

People Playground - Medical Guide + First Aid to Humans - Advanced Medical Aid to Humans - E86227F

In this case you need to use the defibrillator regulary at short intervalls while you prepare a blood transfusion. That’s because the decompisition of the human significantly reduces the chance of a successfull reanimation. Every human decays if their vital system doesn’t work anymore. But if you use regulary the defibrillator, you interrupt the natural decompisition, so you reset basically the timer to zero. Don’t use the defibrillator for every half a second, because this will cause burnings on the human (but seriously, use it quite regulary, pal).

2. Prepare and administer blood transfusions

In the most cases, the administration of blood transfusions is also very important, because in the most cases the human is also suffering from a relevant blood loss.

There are two ways to treat a blood loss – first, we only use a blood flask for the transfusion, without any other devices. The advantage of this form of treatment is that the preparement goes quite fast, but the big disadvantage is that the human must have a functional vital system. If this isn’t the case, the blood won’t be pumped into the human. So it’s only clearly useful for the transfusion of non-lethal blood loss.

The second treatment option is similiar to the first, but the major part is here the Blood Tank.. This device can be found under theMachinery Tab. It’s concipated to pull or push blood out or into a system. The disadvantage of this heavy guy is the long preparement time, because you need to fill the Tank with a blood flask, but the big advantage is that he can also be used if the human is already dead or somewhere inbetween.

If you want to use the first option, place a Blood Flask in the near of the injured human, and connect any limb with the blood flask via the blood vessel wire. The blood will now be pumped into the system if the human is alive.

If you want (or need) to use the second option, place a Blood Tank which you can found under the Machinery Tab and optimally four Blood Flasks in the near of the human. Theoretically you can use one blood flask, but for a proper treatment I recommend four. Now, the devices offers four modes which are important to know:

PUSH: Force the liquid into another system via blood vessel wire.

PULL: Force the liquid out of the current system it is connected to. (Dangerously!)

IDLE: Nothing happens

DRAIN: Remove the current liquid out of the Blood Tank.

First, connect the Blood Tank with all blood flasks that are available. Choose as mode PUSH.

Wait until all the blood is collected, then disconnect the blood vessel wire(s) from the blood tank. Now change the mode to PUSH. It is important that you do this before you connect the wire with the human. Then you switched the mode, connect the blood tank with the human.

The human should now regain slowly his consciousness, if you have shocked him in a properly manner. After the transfusion, do a last shock with the defibrillator. Now, inject Adrenaline (See Part 3). if this doesn’t help, inject the Mending Syringe and repeat the process with the defibrillator.

3. Medical Syringes and their use

This is the last important thing to know: The medical syringes and their use. Generally, I would recommend that you use syringes quite common, preferably durking breaks. Syringe are also useful if the defibrillator and the blood transfusion the human not enoughly animate to come back to life (yay).

You can find all syringes under the Bioharzard Tab.

Adrenaline Syringe

The Adrenaline Syringe is the best friend under the syringes. It dramatically increases the BPM of the human by around 50-70%, based on the current values. It is very useful to use the Adrenaline Syringe after a blood transfusion to wind up the BPM and to regain faster consciousness. The Adrenaline Syringe is good to wind up, but should only be used to support other currently ongoing medical treatments.

Coagulation Syringe

The coagulation Syringe is useful in case of a emergency and a very high blood loss which you can’t properly treat with bandages. The Coagulation Syringe stops the blood loss dramatically fast, so it’s useful as an emergency treatment on the one hand, but on the other hand, the Coagulation Syringe isn’t capable of the regaining blood or of balancing blood loss – if your human already loosed a significant amount of blood, you need to transfuse blood anyways.

People Playground - Medical Guide + First Aid to Humans - Advanced Medical Aid to Humans -

Mending Syringe

The Mending Syringe is in my opinion the second most useful syringe after the Adrenaline Syringe. It is capable of slowing the blood loss, and most importantly, it stops the decompisition and can revert it. This is important, because the higher the decompisition rate, the higher the chance that the reanimation of the human fails. If you have problems with defibrillating your human, use the Mending Syringe.

Injuries and their Treatment

It’s worthy to notice that there are some injuries who are fatal without exception. As a completetion of this guide I added a list of the most injuries that can occur and their treatment – if you are unsure about the exact treatment, feel free to check this list out. I will divide the list into fatal and non-fatal Injuries – Fatal Injuries are always fatal, non-fatal are not.

Non-fatal injuries:

1.0: Blood Loss

1. Remove every foreign body out of the human, if neccessary

2. Bandage ALL wounds properly

3. Check if the human is alive and conscious via health monitor

If this is the case and the human is conscious, you can decide if you transfer blood or not – anyways it’s not neccessary.

If the human is unconscious, he is in a coma and won’t wake up without medical treatment. Follow Section 2 of this guide:

4. Prepare and administrate the transfusion of blood to the human

5. Inject the Adrenaline and Mending Syringe – if possible, also the Coagulation Syringe.

i]6.[/i] Done. If neccessary, repeat Step 4-5.

If the human is dead, start reanimation and follow section 2 and 3 of this guide:

4. Start defibrillation in a regulary and timed manner

5. Prepare and administrate the transfusion of blood to the human

6. Inject the Adrenaline and Mending Syringe – if possible, also the Coagulation Syringe.

7. Done. If neccessary, repeat Step 4-6.

1.1: Blunt Force Trauma (Without blood loss)

1. Check if the human is alive via health monitor

If this is the case, do nothing and wait. The human will regain consciousness soon. Don’t start any reanimation treatments. You can use an Adrenaline Syringe to speed up the process.

If the human is dead, do following:

2. Start defibrillation and defibrillate the human approximately three times

3. Inject Adrenaline and Mending Syringe

4. Repeat Step 2

If this didn’t work, it’s very likely that the neck of the human was broken at the injury. In this case the injury is fatal and the human is dead without exception.

1.2: Burn Wound/Electric shock

1. Check if the human is alive via health monitor

2. Check if the injuries are compatible with life – if the human was tazed until his bones, he is dead without exception

3. Inject Mending Syringe, plus Adrenaline

4. Start reanimation via defibrillation for approximately three times

5. Done. If neccessary, repeat Step 3-4

Fatal Injuries:

Under rare circumstances, a injury is deadly without any exception. For logical reasons, I won’t list a treatment strategy for this injuries, but some hints for their recognition.

Broken neck / skull fracture

This injury is fatal without exception. It can usually happen then the human badly bumping his head. It’s a bit hard to identify this injury, because the symptoms are quite unspecific. Usually, there is a broken neck if the human has stable blood values (no blood loss!), but all reanimation attemps – syringes inclusive – stay without success.

Note: Under very rare circumstances, a human can brought back to life with adequate treatment. I’m not sure if this is a bug, but usually the human is dead without exception.

Injuries incompatible with life

Injuries which are including servered vital limbs (like the head or parts of the chest), and/or very badly electric shock wounds and/or burn wounds at which he body begins to falling apart (Skeleton) are not compatible with the People’s Playground Life – this injuries are always deadly and you can see them in most cases with the nak*d eye.

Note: The humans are tolerant to even the most heaviest injuries – an exposed skull doesn’t neccessary mean that the human is fatally injured. Only the heaviest of the heaviest injurys like body parts falling apart in process of deadly encounters or servered vital limbs, the injury is fatal.

If you know other injuries, which are technically require another strategy than the injuries listed above, leave a comment.

Biology

It’s worth to notice the different body parts (“limbs”) of the human.

A regular human body has the following body parts (from top down):

1. Head

2. Thorax (Upper torso)

3. Two upper arms

4. Two lower arms

5. Stomach (Middle torso)

6. Pelvis (Lower torso)

7. Two thighs

8. Two shanks

9. Two Feets

1. Look on a human body (numerized)

1.1 Look on the fatal zones of a human body

Annotation:

Every limb that gets cutted off is potencially fatal. Orange indicates a low fatal rate (if treated properly), bright red a medium fatal rate and dark red a fatal injury.

Surgery

At one (or more) point(s) in a human’s life, it is possible that a limb gets lost, cut off or slashed or whatever the hell happened to the poor human. If the human lost one or more of his limbs, you can operate the human and replace at least aesthetically.

Make sure to prepare yourself with some important medical things. For a operation, you need:

1. A heart monitor

2. An Knockout Syringe

3. A limb to replace and a limb which will replace the current limb

4. A chainsaw which you can found under the melee tab

Before you start the operation, keep in mind that the new limb won’t be nearly as effective as the old, original limb. Beyond that, it’s quite likely that the arm will decompose. You need to treat the new limb regulary with a mending syringe to prevent damage.

1. Complete the medical aid for the human

Before you try to be a successful surgeon, you should heal the human and stabilize his health. If you need help, check section 1 to 3 of this guide.

People Playground - Medical Guide + First Aid to Humans - Surgery - 2FC94D9

2. Rescue the limb or get another one

Now, it’s time to potencially use the chainsaw. Check if the existent limb of the human can be used for the operation – if this isn’t the case, you need another human and cut the required limbs off to save your privileged one.

If absolute neccessary, also cut destroyed limbs off and replace them. Don#t do this ever if there is another way to heal the limb, because a new limb will never ever work as good as the “original”.

People Playground - Medical Guide + First Aid to Humans - Surgery - 12FE656

3. Stabilize and connect

Now the neat part begins. The limb should be very close to the “cut-off”-location. Connect the new limb with two blood vessel wires. If you did everything right, the human should have a new halfway working limb.

Aftermath

4. Prepare the transport or do whatever you want to do, seriously

Now, after all this time your human should (hopefully) regain his valuable consciousness. Anyways, if you read this guide until the end, I appreciate you.

Have a nice day and I hope I could teach you to be a better human and not to kill them, but to revive your playmates!

Oh, and if you have any ideas at how I can improve this guide, feel free to post them in the comments.

Now, bye-bye!
