This guide will help new players master the world of Fall Guys. With lots of cool hints to help, this will be a perfect start for newcomers.

Basic controls and how they can help

This might seem really basic but these controls can really help. (Spacebar to jump (A on controller), Shift to grab (RT on controller), and CTRL to dive (X on controller). When you’re just about to fall off, diving can be crucial to your success. Is a jump too far for you to make it by just jumping? Dive. You need to close a gap quickly? Dive. Even GRABBING can really help you. Especially on modes like Wall Guys, Tail Tag, Team Tail Tag, and Jinxed.

Grabbing (ruining people’s lives)

Although grabbing might seem like a basic control, it has a lot more to it than you think. Like on maps like Jump Showdown and Jump Club, you can sabotage people’s runs by grabbing them just as they’re about to jump. You can even use your grab to move things that are crucial to people’s success and keep them all to yourself. Take Hoopsie Legends, for example. There are lots of movable blocks that can really help get those hoops to finish off with an easy qualify. But you can drag the blocks other people are on and pull them away from where they need to be.

A basic guide on griefing

Pretty much all the time, griefing is about grabbing at the right time.

You see, between the point you jump on to the tile that Fall Guy is standing and the tile, there is a gap. If you are going to jump there, grab a guy just as he is over the gap and he will fall.

So yeah, griefing is pretty much just grabbing at the right time.

Rank Systems and how they work (S3)

As of December 15th, 2020, Fall Guys implemented a new tier system called Crown Ranks, a way to earn items with Crowns (1 for every win), especially exclusive cosmetics, golden outfits, exclusive titles, banners, and even more! We’re not going to be covering that today. We’ll be talking about the Fame Route. With every show (round) you’ll compete in, you’ll get Fame (XP), which can be used to progress through the Fame Route. For every reward, you need a certain amount of Fame. Oh, I almost forgot to mention Kudos!! Kudos are coins used to buy exclusive store items and can be earned by regular play, or paid for with real money. Now, back to the Fame Route! There are 40 levels. Once you reach level 40, you can no longer earn Fame, only Kudos. So that was my summary of the Fall Guys rank systems!

See you out there!

I hope these tips helped you win at Fall Guys. This was my first Fall Guys guide! Thank you for reading!
