A simple guide to tell you what to do if the killer is camping a survivor, whether it’s straight-up face-camping (standing right next to the hook the entire time) or proxy camping (patrolling around the hook to intercept survivors before reaching it,) you’ll now know what to do to keep the game flowing and use the killer’s time against them!

Do Generators

That’s it. Do generators. The killer is completely and totally occupied with the survivor on the hook, so just step back and force generators. This increases pressure against the killer and, best case scenario gets them to step off and allow a hook rescue in favor of not losing more generators. Worst case scenario is you just complete the generators and the killer now has lost a lot of map pressure by camping one person out.

You see, if you and the other survivors keep rushing the hook and circling it, the camping is fully justified; You all are there, making yourselves vulnerable, and not applying any pressure against the killer. They have the entire game in their hands and are guaranteed to eventually wither you down. Sure, you can get a sick montage clip of an epic save and pwning a camper, but in most cases you hand them a free victory with either a 3k+hatch or 4k outright.

Do gens, that’s it. It’s going to work, I promise. This also works if the killer is tunneling a single survivor out, just force the gens while they’re occupied. Remember that killers can only chase one survivor at a time. Force the objective and you’ll either win or pull the killer off and force them to stop camping. It’s a win/win either way.
