Dead by Daylight – How to speed up your queue time (PC only)

Sick of 5+ min queues? Want to play the game instead of lobby sim?

If you are on PC there might be an easy fix to this problem.
Just turn off crossplay in the main menu.

Since barely anyone plays killer on console, turning off crossplay lowers the amount of survivors in
the queue and gives you faster survivor lobbies. Also speeds up killer lobby finding time,
but the difference for the survivor queue time is much more noticeable.
It reduced my queue time from ~5 min to ~30 sec.
