Inspiration and Ingredients

If executed correctly, this strategy will put your opponent in an endless spiral of unproductive flailing, while you slowly whittle them to nil.

For those who aren’t, allow me to present to you the essential elements of this construction:

Make sure you have one tape that contains an animal that can use this. Recommendations: Cryoshear / Zeustrike, since they both have the fastest base speed (200 of any animal that can master this move.

Zeustrike is more powerful. Ranged Attack Damage – Cryoshear will lose its huge Melee Attack Stat.

Second tape features a beast who can learn Close Encounter

Recommendations: Triphinx/Flapwoods

While Flapwoods are faster than Triphinx they cannot learn Echolocation. This is helpful as you can apply this effect simultaneously to both of your opponents. However, they do learn Broadcast which is a lower-quality Echolocation that does not automatically activate when you arrive.

If you put Roll Again stickers into your spare slots and tape this to your first or second tapes, you might be capable of triggering it from either beast.

Example

Below is my team.

Zeustrike can be further adapted to suit the build, but I do have Crossfade, which I could transfer to Khepri to beat the disadvantages of Air-types.

Execution

Both tapes feature Echolocation. While this isn’t as crucial on Zeustrike because Avalanche will be able to hit all targets, it helps the damage output on free rolls of Spit.

The Custom Starter on Zeustrike is likely to trigger the first instance of Avalanche I’ve put this here to protect against Pre-Emptive Strike monsters/users. If it doesn’t work, wear the hit and use Avalanche the first time you turn. If not, feel free to Spit.

Avalanche must be reapplied each round. Roll Again will aid in keeping this running since it can be applied at the end of a turn. If Avalanche is used in conjunction with Roll Again, make use of Echolocation or spit to keep Multi-Target active.

Depending on the opponent, it could be more beneficial to use Close Encounter or Taunt first. Taunt will stop your opponent from breaking free of the trap or applying debuffs to your team. Close Encounter will stop your opponent from launching any attack, while Avalanche remains active.

As your opponents become berserked and close-encountered by your Roll Again procs, Spits will gradually destroy their health.
