List of Items

Super Item List

20 hours of gameplay. The rarity of the items is not official. I classified them based on my experience. Some of the items were mentioned by players who commented on this guide or players from the official Outlast discord. – [discord.gg]

Small Items

These items are small, and don’t affect the speed or stamina of players. Some of these items can be thrown and stun enemies. Throwable items have different effects depending on the type of enemy.

• Useful for opening containers that are locked, such as tool and first-aid boxes. You can find it anywhere.

  Common item.

• The player gains health. You can find it anywhere. Particularly in first aid boxes. You can find large ones in first aid boxes that are locked.

  Small → Common item.

  Large → Uncommon item.

• Small/Large Battery – Recharges night vision goggles. You can find them in the toolboxes and on the ground. Large ones can be found locked in tool boxes.

  Small → Common item.

  Large → Uncommon item.

• Antidote : Helps the player to regain their sanity. It can be found everywhere. Particularly in first aid boxes. The antidote is also available when the sanity bars are completely empty.

  Common item.

• Adrenaline : Gives the player unlimited stamina for a limited period of time. It can be found anywhere.

  Common item.

• Rig Recharger : Charges the player’s rig after use. You can find them in the toolboxes and on the ground.

  Uncommon item.

• Syringe: Allows the player to revive dead players. This item will not accelerate the process of reviving players who are bleeding. This item can be used to bring back players who have lost all their health, gone down, bled out, or been killed. This item is only found in the glass boxes on walls.

  Uncommon item.

  To simplify, bleeding players can still be revived even without the syringe. However, dead players cannot be revived unless they have a syringe.

• Brick/Bottle: Throwable items. Throwable items will stun the enemy for a short period of time or will cause the player-like enemies to be avoided. The sound of bottles breaking does not cause enemies to move toward the sound. This may be fixed in the game. Can be found everywhere except in first aid boxes and toolboxes.

  Common item.

• Heart is also a throwable object. It does not stun enemies as bottles and bricks do. Instead, it is used for completing the games on the Fun Park map.

  Mission item.

 

Small items that are not stored

These items do not appear in your inventory and do not affect your stamina or speed.

• Keys : Used to open gates. You can find it in human bodies marked with symbols in the “Police Station level”.

• Posters is usually the secondary goal in a trial. After completing the trial, finding the entire amount can increase your XP or money.

Big Items

These items reduce the player’s stamina and movement speed. These items cannot be stored in the player’s inventory.

• Gasoline – Used to refuel the generators on the “Police Station Map”.

• Bleach : Used to cook the food for the kids in the “Orphanage map”

  Mission item.

• Mannequin Children : Mother Gooseberry’s children are mannequins, and in the trial in the farmhouse on the “Fun Park map”, they are shredded.

• In the tutorial, you will see boxes of documents containing your public and private data. You must destroy them in a shredder.

 

Secrets

These items are classified as being secret or extremely rare. These items can be large or small, and unstored or stored in inventory.

• Gift room / “Confidential Room A secret room that is opened by pressing two buttons on the same level at the same time. This room contains a lot of items that are very helpful to the players. Randomly spawns. In solo runs, the 2 buttons must be pressed within a certain time.

  Secret

  Known Location:

  Basement, laundry room.

  Police Station: interrogation room

  Fun Park: Dark room behind the first obstacle of the Root Canal.

• Master Key is a lockpick that can be used to open locks instantly. You can find it in the gift room. Super efficient on hard mode or solo runs. This item can be kept in your inventory.

  Gift Room Item

• Energy Enhancer : Used to increase maximum energy and stamina of a player. You can find it in the gift room. This item can be kept in the inventory.

  Gift Room Item

• Health Enhancer : Increases the maximum health of a player. You can find it in the gift room. This item can be kept in the inventory.

  Gift Room Item

• Battery Enhancer is used to increase the maximum battery capacity of the player. You can find it in the gift room. This item can be kept in the inventory.

  Gift Room Item

• Evidences: Collecting this amount will reveal more about the game’s lore. Randomly spawns at specific locations.

  Rare item.
