Hey there, welcome to this post, In this guide, we will tell you all about Terra Nil – Scan Collection List by Region Following this guide each steps.

Guide to the animal scanning requirements of each region. This guide makes it easier for you to build the necessary infrastructure to bring each region up to 100%.

Introduction to the Guide

Thank you for reading this guide. I hope this guide helps. This guide was created from 3 other guides for the game. The only one I could find for the animals was in another language that I didn’t know.

Using google translate didn’t help much either
. This guide was created to help you get 100% in each area. This information is learned through trial and error.

This is the format I’m using for each animal in this guide. While there are only three requirements for an animal in the game, it is no a limit. When scanning an animal, ensure that you meet all requirements within the scanning circle.

Now, onto the regions! I hope that this helps!

Temperate Region

Animals:

Deer

This grazer lives in herds across wide open grassland.

– In a range of at least 20 greenery tiles

Frog

This small amphibian lives near a field of fynbos in the reeds.

– In a range of at most 10 Wetland tiles

– In a range of at least 5 Fynbos Tiles

Brown Bear

This large caniform’s domain includes a forest with a beehive on a hill.

– In a range of at most 20 Forest tiles

– Within reach of a honeybeehive

Goose

When it’s not flying, this web-footed waterfowl sits in a large body of water.

– In a lake that has a minimum radius of 4

– (

This was a difficult one. You will need a river at least 4 tiles in width in each direction. If one isn’t naturally spawned on a map, you can use an excavator or the sandbox to create a lake of at least 4 tiles width. Sometimes, the game will want a true lake. Other occasions, it will accept a river of great width.

Beaver

This rodent is hardy and builds its home in a river close to a forest.

– In the range of Rivers

– Within a range of at most 10 Forest tiles

– (

This one is also stubborn. It requires a river. I found that there are at most three excavator lines adjacent to each other, which is sufficient to count for the river.

)

Timber Wolf

This predator is found in a forest very close to a prey source.

– In a range of at least 15 Forest tiles

– In the range of a group Deer

Tropical Region

Animals:

Tortoise

This beach-dwelling reptile lives in a shell on an island.

– In range of at most 10 Beach tiles

– On an island

– (

Note: The game is very selective about what “island” is. I’ve found that less than 30 tiles are sufficient. Some maps include something that will meet this requirement. However, you may need artificially creating the island.

)

Manta Ray

This unusually shaped creature glides along the ocean’s edge near coral reefs and river estuaries.

– In the range of at least 8 Ocean tiles

– In range of at minimum 6 Coral Reef tiles

– In a range of at most 3 River tiles

– (

Note: The hardest part in the mantaray is making sure that you have all three river tiles.

)

Parrot

This beautiful bird is at home in lush forest canopies under clear skies.

– In the range of at most 20 Tropical Forest tiles

– No buildings available

– (

Notice: The scanners will not detect the parrots until they are far away from the buildings. It is best to search for them after you have finished cleaning up the map.

)

– In the range of at most 16 Ice Sheet tiles

– In a range of at most 10 Ocean tiles

Polar Bear – This large predator lives in the snowy area next to the ocean and is close to a source for prey.

– In a range of at most 16 Snow tiles

– In the range of at least 6 Ocean tiles

Note: Yea. It’s elk. Not penguins. Also, make sure to find a group or elk right next to the ocean.
