How to get rid of the black screen in fullscreen and display your resolution properly.
 
 
Problem: black screen when trying to load or play sekiro at my native resolution.
 
 
To get ultrawide 21:9 Support and unlocked framerate
 
 
I literally searched for days for the blackscreen fix, and an ultrawide mod that worked with the current version sekiro. I learned the black screen fix totally by myself through trial and error.

How to get rid of the black screen in fullscreen and display your resolution properly.

Problem: black screen when trying to load or play sekiro at my native resolution.
 
 
Tried to fix using solution that did not work which was the following Go to AppData>Roaming>Sekiro>GraphicsConfig(xml-file) Opening it with Notepad(text editor) Changing “Resolution-FullScreen” to the one your monitor uses. Launching game and pressing alt+enter a couple of times.
 
 
I searched the internet for days, I wasn’t able to display sekiro in fullscreen at 3440 x 1440. Sometimes you just have to figure things out yourself.
 
 
Heres what you need to do.
 
 
GO yourinstalldrive > steamlibrary > steamapps > common > Sekiro
 
 
find sekiro.exe then right click>, select properties>, click the compatability tab> click the box for disabled fullscreen optimizations > click box for run program as admin > Click the change high DPI settings > click the override high dpi scaling behaviour and select (application) from the selector. > click apply > click ok.
 
 
Play game > select your monitor resolution > apply and enjoy your game in full screen!

Download mod > Open Sekiro > Launch SekiroFpsUnlockandmore > Put in your refresh rate in the frame rate lockbox and hit check. Add your custom resolution in the next box below and hit the check box. Now click patch game.
