A no-frills guide to stealthing Car Shop on Death Sentence

Intro

This guide is assumed for Solo play. It can be used in Multiplayer, although most lobbies will probably just ECM Rush, which is preferable.

I wrote this guide for myself. I spent an hour or so on this heist and never wanted to forget how I did it. It took me 13 minutes to do it after I figured out my own version. Other guides I found just tell you all the locations and an outline of the objectives, which is useful, but I wanted something that actually walked me through it.

This is a no-frills guide. You won’t find images or anything. There are plenty of other guides out there with images if you need to reference something.

Casing Mode

Go inside the dealership to the first floor and check if the Storage Room is there in the middle. This will automatically complete the second objective if it is. If it’s not there, then you know it’s upstairs and there’s only one spot it can be at.

Mask Up

Once that’s done, go further back to your right hand side and, if the coast is clear, loop the camera and pick the lock to the door that leads to the stairs.

If the coast isn’t clear, go outside the dealership to the right hand side, open the gate, then go to the door on your left hand side and pick the lock.

Rigging The Staircase

From here, you’re going to plant Sensor Tripmines in the following locations as you make your way to the roof:

  • At the first floor, place one on the entrance of the door between the floor room and the stairs
  • Go up the first flight of stairs and place another
  • Pick open the door to the second floor and place another there

Picking open the doors means that guards will now leave the main area to go up and down the stairs between the first floor and second floor. This will make your life easier.

Roof – Find The Manager

Once you make your way to the roof, go to the far left upper corner where the windows are at and start looking around for the manager (bald guy).

He could be in the Meeting Room if you see people inside that room.

Or if there’s 3 people outside the Meeting Room talking, he’s there.

If you don’t see him, go straight ahead to the next glass window and see if he’s in an office with another person.

If you still don’t see him, he’s either in the Staff Room or he’s going up and down the floor room stairs.

If he’s going up and down the floor room stairs, you can catch him as he goes to the right side of the Staff Room by the balcony.

If the Storage Room is on the top, open the glass window that’s in the far left upper corner, drop in, and make your way to the Storage Room to complete the objective.

Hiding Body Bags and Hostages

If the Storage Room was on the top, this is the best and easiest place to hide body bags and hostages.

If not, it’s a choice between the corner of the Cubicle (next to the Meeting Room) where the blinds are (make sure their heads don’t go through the wall to the other side) or the Staff Room.

If you choose the Cubicle area, just know that up to two civies can / will pass through that area and be alerted. Either tie them up or kill them, your choice.

If you choose the Staff Room, I prefer to place them by the corner near the entrance. If they’re hostages, lay them down then use your Shotgun or Judge to push into the corner to ensure they’re hidden from civies that walk by.

If the Manager was in the Office with another civie, just know that’s it tough to find a good spot in that area. I only got this location once and the area I picked (behind the desk) wasn’t good enough and blew stealth.

If you kill a guard in the staircase, the roof is safe to hide the body. I never had a guard go up there.

Manager’s Office

Once you’ve dealt with the Manager, use the wall to the right of where the copy machine is in the Cubicle room to activate Sixth Sense and check for civies and guards.

If it’s clear, then go to the door on the left and do quick peeks to see if the alert warning goes up, which indicates the presence of guards or civies. This is usually better than looking for guards and civies as your reaction time is faster.

If everything’s clear, make your way to the Manager’s Office, and get the name of the IT guy.

Hack The Computer

Once you have the name, go back to the Cubicle and start looking around for the desk with the name you found in the Manager’s Office.

If it’s not there, go to the first floor and check there.

Remember to use the peek technique and it’s not a bad idea to place some Sensor Tripmines if the coast is clear.

If it’s in neither of those spots, it’s in the office to the right of the Manager’s.

Plant The C4

Once you hacked the computer, make your way down to the staircase on the side of the building.

If you haven’t done so by now, pick the lock open. You will also have to hack the Electrical Box if you didn’t enter through this side at the start of the game.

Be on the lookout for guards and one guard will be patrolling the outside perimeter where the fence is.

Escape

Once the C4 is planted, go back to the Storage Room using the side entrance of the building. You don’t want to alert the guards, so use an ECM or Pocket ECM if too many guards or civies are alerted.

Once you’ve made your way to the Storage Room, grab a key, then go to the second car so that the first car provides some cover from all the gunfire from the guards.

That’s it, just drive to the destination, park the car, get out, and go to the van.
