Monsters not attacking
If you start up the game and you go to an area with monsters and this happens.
As you can see the monsters aren’t attacking me. If this happens press pause and you’ll get this screen.
As you can see from the picture above encounter is set to off. Simply set it to on and press the confirm button. ( A for Xbox, and X for PlayStation controller).
Unpause the game and leave the area with the monsters and come back in and they should attack like so.
And that’s all there is to it. I know many people have had this problem so it’s no big deal if it happens to you.
NPC companion not moving
If you start up the game and get an NPC companion like Bud, Lisa or any other companion you can get and for some reason they aren’t moving and you are at the other side of the screen like this.
Press pause and see if the 2nd player control is set to manual like so.
If it is just set it to auto and press the confirm button. ( A for Xbox, and X for PlayStation controller)
after setting it to auto you companion should move right behind you and work like normal.
If you companion is still not moving after that then you might want to verify you files and restart the game.
The reason I made this guide is because since the game came out I’ve had helped a lot of people both here on Steam and on other forums with this issue, but here on Steam people delete their post after I helped them for whatever reason and people that are having that same issue can’t find a solution to their problem. So I thought I’ll help those that don’t want to ask on the discussion board. I’ve played Legend of Mana for years and I always have fun with it I know that the remastered has it problems, but it’s still a lot of fun for me so have fun and don’t forget to smile.
I hope you enjoy the Guide we share about Legend of Mana – Monsters not attacking and NPC companion not moving Fix; if you think we forget to add or we should add more information, please let us know via commenting below! See you soon!
