Hunt time
When entering into a hunt, it is important to be as sneaky as possible, as to not alert any sweaty 3kd tryhards in the area.
Make sure you are using melee weapons as much as possible, but feel free to shoot a hive or two if needed.
- Rat hole tip 1 When in a close range encounter, be sure to sprint at enemies with your sabre out. In most encounters, you will win. However if the opposing party is using any type of shotgun it is advised that you keep your distance. This can be challenged if they miss a shotgun shot, or are reloading.
- Rat hole tip 2 Stab bosses such as the Spider, Butcher, and Crow with your sabre. This reduces noise made that could alert thugs to your location.
- Rat hole tip 3 Place the alert trip mine next to explosive barrels. Be sure to place the circular side of the mine on the barrel so it explodes once activated. See below example.
The best time to be placing these mines are when you have killed a boss and want to secure a compound, or when you are in a fight and you plan on sneaking away.
