Windows 10:
Right click on your sound icon in the taskbar.
Click on ‘sounds’.
Go to ‘playback’.
Right click anywhere and choose ‘show disconnected devices’.
Right click on any disconnected device you won’t use right now or in the future and set it as ‘default communication device’.
