There are over 500 cars in the base game. Many of which are hidden or are unlocked by luck. This guide is just a simple one that shows the hard-to-find cars that are not exclusively stated otherwise. Note: this guide do NOT contain the 14 Barn Finds found in free-roam, but there is a car that is story exclusive that involves a barn.

Car Collection

As you collect cars, there will be bonuses for collecting a certain amount of cars per manufacturer. Some of the manufacturer bonuses yield you a car. The Porsche Collection bonus is the 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Forza Edition.

Seasonal Playlist/ Forzathon Shop

The seasonal playlist is a random set of events that will yield a reward which is randomized by the developers every month. The rewards are random so you don’t know if/when the next time a rare car will be available. There are some cars that are exclusive to this format. You can also try your luck in the auction house if you really want one of these cars. I’m considering Series 1 as the base game and obviously this list would need to change to accommodate any new additions.
 
 
This is also a way to get wheelspin exclusive cars without needing to spin wheelspins. It all depends on what the developers feel like releasing.

Final Thoughts

This is just a way to keep track of the secret cars in the base game since there are a lot of hidden cars not seen in the Autoshow. I didn’t include barn finds since there are guides on that. Most Forza Edition cars are wheelspin exclusive, which is why I didn’t include them. The normal variations of the cars can mostly be found in the Autoshow.
