The light and dark power

While light and darkness are often seen as opposites, they don’t necessarily work the same way as you might think.

Take a look at reality, and you will see that four “fundamental forces control the universe “… – the strong nuclear power, the weak nucleus force, electromagnetism, gravity, and the electromagnetic force. These can be controlled through “paracasual” methods to create Light abilities. You can get effects that are not necessarily related to cause. These fundamental forces are not directly affected by the Dark powers but rather as inhibitors.

Solar

“The fundamental forces that define the universe make it possible to see all of it. Quanta, the tiny messengers and energy carriers, carry energy. Solar Light is a secret that can only be understood by understanding these messengers.

Arc

“Fundamental forces can define the universe. Deep muscles bond together with complex matter. This study is what reveals the secrets of Arc Light.

Void

“Fundamental forces define the universe. The vacuum lies beneath light and matter and its vast dark secrets. This vacuum is the key to Void Light.

Contrary to popular belief, Solar does not refer to “fire” or “thermal power”. It is a manipulation and fusion of solid nuclear forces, combining matter. You use this process to ignite a target or spread scorch across the universe. Solar cascades most effectively when it is concentrated. This literal expression of the Light’s “Bomb Logic” is an excellent example of its “Bomb Logic”. Although heat and fire are symptoms of this activity, it is not the root cause.

Arc is responsible for manipulating the Electroweak power, binding matter together to make connections for the energy exchange. It alters the molecular matter’s charges to complete this feat and can give or receive electromagnetic energy. This is why you can pump so much light into a fighter that they disintegrate. You feel it as you move your boots forward with more incredible velocity.

Void is the least known power in Destiny 2’s history, but it is very similar to “Zero Point Energy”/”Dimensional Anchor forces. Some may refer to this as the theory of Gravity, which is the force that mass pulls on other mass (and oddly unmassless photons). It is the raw stuff of dimensions (not 1D-2D-3D), which I refer to as “Space”.
