Bungie provides a “decent” source of high stat armor rolls every season in their 10$ season pass, we will be utilizing those.
This guide focuses on setting everything up with mods so you can get the best out of these armor pieces.
Every build has 1 exotic as well, don’t worry though the stats don’t matter as we are utilizing the collection rolls.
Introduction
With the introduction of sunsetting in Destiny 2, armor grind has been increasingly more annoying to-do and the effort spent on it feels wasted after a while, getting that perfect 1 in 100000 piece is straight up meet with the feeling of waste given they will be sunset rather sooner than later.

Prerequisite
This will be a list of things you should have ready, be able to get.
- Enough materials to masterwork everything
- The Dragon’s Shadow Hunter Exotic
- Crest of Alpha Lupi Titan Exotic
- Aeon Soul Warlock Exotic
- Following mods:
- Powerful Friends
- Radiant Light
- Protective Light
- Global Reach
- Taking Charge
- Stat-mods (for Recovery, intellect, Discipline, Mobility)
- Powerful Friends
- Season Pass rank: 57
Meta loadout, adjustable loadout
All weapon related mods are based around one meta loadout that I like to use, those mods can be adjusted to whatever you want to run in your build. Global Reach requires any Ikelos/Seraph weapon to create Warmind Cells, I greatly advice to run one of those at all times.
My current seasons setup is the following:
Hunter stock build
Required armor
- Praefectus Mask at Season Pass Level 57
- Praefectus Grips at Season Pass Level 37
- The Dragon’s Shadow from collections
- Praefectus Strides at Season Pass Level 44
- Praefectus Cloak at Season Pass Level 47
Stat & Mod breakdown
Explanation
Hunters were super lucky this season, their armor is really really great providing you with 37 total stat tiers (with mods). You get the 100 recovery, you get the 40 threshold for Str and Int & you get an insane 80 Str/70 Mobility stat.
Mobility with Dragons Shadow maxes out whenever you use it, it also reloads your guns and provides your mobility ability if you use gamblers dodge (which you should).
It is all in all the best setup this season by far.
Warlock stock build
Required armor
- Praefectus Hood at Season Pass Level 57
- Aeon Soul from collections
- Praefectus Vestment at Season Pass Level 54
- Praefectus Boots at Season Pass Level 44
- Praefectus Bond at Season Pass Level 47
Stat & Mod breakdown
Explanation:
This seasons armor is heavily focused around Resilience, making it near impossible to get something good out of this. Aeon Soul’s rework provides you and your team with a constant stream of ammo in activities.
The 7 stat tiers in res. provide you with an additional 6.5% damage resistance (this is not a whole lot) however it may or may not give you an edge to survive 1 more tick damage of AoE effects.
If you got any other builds or got better armor or even still have the armor from the Season of the Hunt, you are better off using that. This build works, you get enough out of it to do every activity in the game but its by far not as optimal as you would want it to be.
Titan stock build
Required armor
- Praefectus Helm at Season Pass Level 57
- Praefectust Gauntlets at Season Pass Level 37
- Crest of Alpha Lupi from collections
- Praefectuss Greaves at Season Pass Level 44
- Praefectus Mark at Season Pass Level 47
Stat & Mod breakdown
Explanation
All decent to good collection roll Titan exotics didn’t fit with the armor, it constantly provided an enormous amount of wasted stats. This current setup allows for decent amount of stats in all important stats. All thresholds were met, the mobility is over the top and might not be for everyone.
The recovery is the lowest out of all 3 classes however Crest of Alpha Lupi makes up for that. You can pair this with Bubble and get a constant stream of supers for your team given you create more Orbs with that exotic as well.
Your Int. stat is quite high as well, so you will get your supers quite often as well.
It is all in all a solid build however it is something you would need to get used to.
Summary
All in all you can make very decent builds that you can use for everything, your weapons and weapon specific mods are changeable to whatever you want.
You can always grind for your own armor, make better builds, with better exotics or different exotics however this is a very basic one that works for everything, every activity and most importantly it doesn’t require a stupid amount of grind to get certain pieces.
This is all about Destiny 2 – (Season of the Chosen) Endgame build without armor grind for all classes; I hope you enjoy reading the Guide! If you feel like we should add more information or we forget/mistake, please let us know via commenting below, and thanks! See you soon!
