Welcome to (Cities: Skylines – How to Progress Growables Tutorial) This guide teaches you how to use styles to place (zoned buildings) in the appropriate place. There is a way for you to make a building rise in your city without losing its model, even though the game doesn’t try to match buildings from one level to another.

Step 1: Sign up

Make a list of the growables you like using (or) Remember that the maximum area you can create is 4×4, so this method is not likely to work for zones smaller than 4×4.

Ensure that every asset has the right level of protection.

Because the zoning will determine what grows where the zones/densities (can be combined with the specializations).

You will likely have to create your own growing sets. Most creators know that the game doesn’t follow a progression so don’t bother creating them. You will then need to upload them to Workshop to be able to subscribe to them. Styles can only be added to assets that have been subscribed to.

Step 2: Create Style

Start the game, create a new style, and then add your growables.

Step 3: Create a District

It is a good idea to try a new game.

Create a district for your building by using the smallest brush and then apply the style.

You should leave space around your style district. If one cell of the neighboring lots overlaps, it is possible to include).

Conclusion

It is tedious and annoying to define the district, but it is worth the effort, I feel.

It is not easy to use a district to control the appearance of a single building. There is a way to make a city more unique and amazing for those who have chosen this labor of love.
