Hello and welcome, we hope you find our Baldur’s Gate 3 – List of Brews & Effects Guide to be useful.

After dealing with an eco-friendly relative, you’ve uncovered a plethora of weird concoctions, right? Want to discover how they function without the hassle of scientific research? You can use this fast tutorial!

List of Brews & Effects

Each brew is unique, with the bulk of negative effects but a few positives. The majority of them last only a few turns or until you take a long rest. You They cannot be thrown in an area. Except for making difficulty with your pals and selling them for 1 gold, the negative impacts are meaningless.

Because most bad effects are cursed, I believe any curse removal effect can eliminate them. But I haven’t tried it yet.

  • A Mother’s Loathing: Gain the “Bite”, common action, until your next long sleep. Bite is a melee action that can be used once per turn. It deals 2d4 Piercing Damage.
  • Broken Promises Gain +2 STR up to your next long rest. Then permanently gains -1 STR. This is marked as a “curse”, so effects that remove curses can likely remove it.
  • Butterflies In The Stomach– Haemorrhage, taking 1d6 Piercing Damage per turn for four turns. The damage is done when you finish your turn.
  • Take advantage of WIS savings until your next long sleep.
  • Heart of Stone: Resist poison damage until you take your next long rest. The effect says “until you rest”, but short rests do not remove it.
  • Insanity’s Kiss– Attack indiscriminately, and become hostile to all creatures nearby for 4 turns.
  • Lost Time: Take -2 Armor class & can’t use Reactions. Lasts 50 turns.
  • Take -1 to your WIS until your next long rest.
  • Missing Pets: Gain a disadvantage for 3 turns on ability checks and attack rolls.
  • Wilted Dreams– When your next long rest, you will take 3-18 Psychic Damage. The damage is done as soon as you awaken.
