How to add more than one city to a nation within a single scenario without using annex command.

STEPS:

Create your scenario. Or, you can use one of our presets. If you make your own, I would recommend making a back-up incase.

In my case, i’m using a scenario called “Europe – 1939”.

So, I’m gonna add West Prussia. (Or as it is more commonly called today, “Kaliningrad”) We want Germany’s “Territory”, no matter what you call it.

If you are making a scenario rather than just simulating it, then you cannot just give Germany the territory by using the “Annex”.

Step 1

Use the “Annex’ command to simulate the scenario.

Now, you can save the game.

Once you’ve done this, quit the game.

Step 2

Now, open up your AppData folder. If you don’t know where to find that, type this in your search bar, or paste in your File Explorer “C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\JoySparkGames\Ages of Conflict”.

If you took the “%appdata%”, path, go to “LocalLow”, then exit “Roaming”.

Next, you’ll want to find “JoySparkGames”, followed by “Ages of Conflict”.

Next, go into your “Saves” folder.

Then, locate the folder that corresponds to the name of the savegame you made.

Once you’ve entered that, there will be a file titled “Save.aoc”. You can open it and copy all the contents onto your clipboard.

Notepad++ may be different from what you see. However, the process is similar.

You should not edit this file unless it is necessary. Otherwise, copy the content and move onto step 3.

Step 3

Go back to “Custom Scenarios”, and then the original folder.

Now, create a brand new text document. You can give it any name you want. Heck, you can even just call it “New Text File”. Just make sure that you change the file extension to “.aoc”, and not “.txt”.

Paste the contents of your saved game.

You should see your new scenario there if you’ve done everything right. It will have exactly the same name that you gave to it in the files.

Germany has gained a city after annexing West Prussia. If you don’t want to core the city you can make West Prussia or any other country bankrupt. Then you can start a civil war with whichever country you want.
