Uploading to Workshop / Downloading From Workshop

From the menu, you can upload maps to your workshop. First save your map, then return to the main menu.

Give your Workshop item a descriptive name. This name will be displayed in the Workshop and on the map if they Subscribe to it.

Make sure to give it precise tags so it is easier to find.

Once you are satisfied, click on Put to Workshop and Confirm.

The upload progress will then begin. This popup should appear:

Uploading could fail if you don’t agree to the general Workshop agreement. Steam Overlay enabled should open the page. If not, you can go into your Workshop profile to agree to it. It works for all games. If you have used Workshop on other games, it should be accepted.

The upload should be completed in a matter of seconds. Steam Overlay enabled will open your item page. If not, you will see the message above.

Because the item needs to be reviewed by Steam, it will not appear immediately.

It is not possible to update your workshop items at this time, but you can edit the contents. The Workshop allows you to edit the title and the images attached to it. You will need to create a brand new creation if you wish to make any changes to your creation. If you wish, you can delete the previous one from the Workshop.

Steam will automatically download an item you have subscribed to in the Workshop. The next time you open the game, it should be there. It might take some time, though. It is possible that items may not disappear immediately after you unsubscribe.

Do not delete workshop items from your computer by hand. This could cause Steam to stop automatic updates and prevent you from keeping your items current. (Experience based)
