How To Tame Wolves

Before we proceed, this quick tutorial is base on what I did on taming wolves. Some players did another procedure on taming one.

Information:

Wolves can be found at the Mountain Biome. Taming one is not that easy compare to Boar Taming, wolves usually are in a pack so it’s kinda bit tough and attack very quickly.
Before heading into the mountain you must prepare what you need such as:

• Workbench
• Wood for building a fence
• Raw meat, Neck Tails, or raw fish. You must have at least 20-25 raw meat.

 

Once you have everything what you need, head to the snow mountain and search for one. As I said, they are in a pack usually but you can also spot just one.
As you can see in this photo shown below what we did. Two-person is enough for a successful taming.

Step 1:
Build a fence right away and drop the raw meat before bringing the wolf inside.

Step 2:
Run towards the fence you built, and once the wolf enters inside as well, you have to build a fence quickly so that it will not escape.

Step 3:
When you catch the wolf, stay away from it they are very aggressive and they will destroy the fence when they are frightened.

 

The taming process can take up to 1-hour max. You can sneak up press (ctrl) you must be very careful. Heart sign meaning the wolf is eating.

Wolves can follow you (press E to Follow) and Press E again to Unfollow. You should tame two wolves for breeding.
The good thing about having wolves is you can take them with you and protect you from all the monsters around you maximum of 4.
