This article explains how to obtain substantial bond trophies.

Intro

There are 12 substantial bond achievements. This gives you 12 characters to focus your attention on. For the final bonding event, each character must meet two criteria. It is possible to get 9 out of 12 on the first playthrough.

Grind link exp. (Neithardt would love to be proud)

Link exp(+3 Rean’s link partner and +1 additional party members, including “support”), is the easiest place to win quick victories in battles. It’s located on the 1st Floor of the Old Schoolhouse. Run through all enemies on your way from the elevator to reach the depths and back.

After all festival tickets have been purchased, the night of 10/23 is the best night to grind. You will have Emma as your +1 party member. This will allow you to farm link exp with 6 of the 10 characters simultaneously.

Recommended equip Megalith(charge) master Quartz lvl 5 and force(+25) Master Quartz lvl 5. A gladiator belt, or headband, is a great addition.

You can hold “Turbo mode” to spam “Break Craft” each battle. In no time, you will receive an achievement for them.

Rean’s link partner should be changed if necessary! You should also save your progress periodically.

Highly recommend leaving her for New Game+. To reach 4400+ link exp, you must attend all possible bonding events and purchase 2 tickets to the festival on 10/23.

Towa (Ungrindable 100%)

1. Link exp 2000+ (Link lvl 3 –

2. Spend 2 tickets at the Festival on October 23rd to attend the Chapter 5 bonding event

Highly recommend leaving her for New Game+. To reach 2000+ link exp, you must attend all possible bonding events and purchase 2 tickets to the festival on 10/23.

Reload the save, select them all, and hold “turbo Mode” + “skip”, On the first playthrough, you’ll receive 9 bonding trophies.
