Golden Egg Achievement

Where to find it?

The golden egg has a chance to spawn in Lata Plains ontop of a cliff near a tree. The egg had a 50% chance to spawn for me. (Total of 2 expeditions on Insane mode) A good landmark to get is the camp nearby. I’m unsure if difficulty increases the spawn rate.

How to get there.

Start an expedition and drop in Lata Plains. Get to this point on the map.

You’ll see a ramp and a camp nearby.

Run up the ramp and head to the 2 trees on a peak to the right.

Once there you’ll see these rocks you can vault on. Vault up on these.

Turn to the right and you’ll see the 2 trees on the peak, head to the right one

You made it! If RNG serves you right, the egg would be under the tree. Shoot it for the achievement. It also drops a bunch of materials.

Author Notes

If the egg isn’t under the tree I would just hit ESC and leave to main menu. Launch another expedition and return to the same location. It took me 2 tries. The egg spawned in my second expedition.
