RuneScape – Demon Slayer (Guide – Text + Images + Video )

Quest Intro

This is a Free Quest! 
 
Quest Name: Demon Slayer (Guide – Text + Images + Video ) 
Quest Difficulty: Easy – Medium! 
Quest Starter location: North-East Church in Varrock. Talk to the Gideon Bede. 
Quest Length: Short! 
Quest items Needed: None. But good food is required and able to survive blows between 60(0) and 70(0). 
Quest Reward: 3 Quest Points, 3 Combat XP Lamps (100 XP each), 1x Silverlight Sword, 1x Avernic Wand and book. 
 
 
 

Quest Guide

Talk to Gideon Bede in the church North-East of Varrock. He will tell you someone has stolen a 
Demonic Tome and will be summoning a Demon to attack Varrock. 
 
 
 
 
 
Accept his request to help him and to start the Demon Slayer (Guide – Text + Images + Video ) quest and then walk through the Trapdoor south of Gideon Bede (Still in the church). 
 
 
 
Once down there you will noticed 3 Spirits that are guardians of the Silverlight and you will need to complete all 3 trials in order to obtain the Silverlight sword. 
 
 
 
Spirit of the Body: You will need to kill several Skeletons (lvl 1) to beat this Trial. 
 
 
 
Spirit of Faith: You will need to follow his path direction and walk in the same direction over the chasm. (You can move freely once you have passed this trial) 
 
 
 
Spirit of the Mind: You will need to answer all of his questions correctly. 
 
 
 
Question 1: Why are you in this place? 
Answer 1: I seek Silverlight. 
 
Question 2: And what is Silverlight? 
Answer 2: A sword that slays demons. 
 
Question 3: Why do you require a sword that slays demons? 
Answer 3: A powerful demons threatens Varrock. 
 
Question 4: Who is this demon? 
Answer 4: Delrith. 
 
Question 5: And who sends you to claim the Silverlight and fight Delrith? 
Answer 5: Gideon Bede. 
 
After you have completed all 3 trials go back to the centre and talk to one of the Spirits and grab the Silverlight out of the rock. 
 
 
 
Climb back upstairs and there will be a scroll on the ground where Gideon Bede used to be. 
 
Read the scroll and walk all the way south (Past the Bank and Magic shop) and you will see a trapdoor next to a church of Zamorak. 
 
 
 
Climb down the trapdoor and fight against several Cultist (lvl 1). 
 
 
They will drop Cooked meat and it might be worth picking them up for the demon fight that will happen soon. 
 
After you have killed all Cultists and enter a bigger room, a cutscene will be played and Delrith (level 15) will be summoned. 
 
 
 
Delrith will attack normally but he will unleash a charge attack after he is taking too much damage. 
You will need to run to Gideon Bede to avoid enormous amount of damage. Gideon Bede will cast a shield that will absorb most of the damage but you will still take a good chunk of damage. This will happen about 3-4 times before Delrith has been killed. 
 
 
 
Once the demon has been slain you will be teleported back to the North-East church in Varrock and your quest will be completed.
