Welcome to Persona 3 Portable – Male Protagonist Complete Schedule & Stats Guide.
This method offers the male protagonist a schedule that will guarantee they can max out all social links, complete all requests, and find and save every missing person throughout the first game. Since the player only has very little time, you should carefully follow this advice.
Social Stats / Qualities
There are three social stats (referred to as social qualities according to achievements) in Persona 3: Academic, Charm, and Courage.
After performing specific actions, the player can level them up, with each one starting at rank 1, and maxing out at rank 6.
Certain social links have social stat requirements for progression, so it’s important to increase your social stats as soon as possible. In addition to this, P3P added a feature to the Charm social stat which gives the player an additional social point multiplier that stacks with carrying a matching persona, making it possible to have a max of 2.28x multiplier!
Here are most, if not all the activities that increase your social stats:
Academic
*You’ll want to stay awake when prompted to for class to gain academic points every time for this walkthrough (sleeping can provide you with great condition, but social stats is more important early)

*You’ll be reloading your save fairly often to maintain your tired status between days so that you can visit the clinic multiple days.
Matching Social Link Personas
All social points you acquire will have a 1.51x multiplier if your persona matches the social link you’re connecting with. Consequently, you must maintain a consistent character at all times (aside from a few, such as Devil and Sun, who do not require social points to rank up). It’s wise to do so just in case, even though it’s typically not necessary until after achieving rank 2 of any social link.
The following activities in this guide imply that the player always has a persona that matches:
- Meeting with a social connection
- Fortune telling at the shrine for a social connection
- Accepting a phone call from a social connection
- Going for a nighttime walk and meeting with the corresponding social link
- Attending film festivals and other social activities
Here are some ideas to help you avoid missing the opportunity to provide a complementary persona when it presents itself:
- Tartarus: Revise your personas before leaving Tartarus so you’ll have the right personas for the next few days.
- Vacations: When there’s a vacation, read ahead and see what personas you’ll need during and AFTER the vacation. You may have a meeting right after a vacation without being given a chance to switch out personas
- Sunday & movie outings: These happen right after you wake up and won’t give you a chance to rearrange your personas, so make sure you have a matching persona the night before.
- Walk at night: Walking at night with Koromaru will grant points to his social link, Strength, so remember to bring a Strength persona. Furthermore, if you’ll be meeting another social link during the walk, prepare that social link’s persona as well.

4/24 Chariot – Miyamoto Katzushi
You have until 5/26 to join a sports club. You will be forced to if you still have not joined one by 5/27. Choosing which club doesn’t matter. Miya is in the corridor outside classroom 2-F. Available on Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri daytime.
4/25 Hierophant – Bunkichi & Mitsuko
The couple owns the bookstore at Iwatodai, which open on 4/25. To initiate their social link, you need to first talk to them and be asked about a persimmon tree. Go back to your school, examine the tree for a persimmon leaf, and bring it back to them. Available on Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun daytime.
*Note that Bunkichi will be one of the lost victims in Tartarus. You can read about him missing on 9/12 at the police station. You have to rescue him on the 120th floor by 10/4 or this social link will be locked.
4/27 Emperor – Student Council
On 4/27, Mitsuru will appoint you to serve in the student council. The entrance is on the 2nd floor of school, and the council meets on Mon, Wed, Fri daytime.
4/29 Hermit – Maya
Available on Sun or holiday. Accessible through the laptop in your room.
4/30 Strength – Nishiwaki Yuko
*Flag: Invite her to walk together after Rank 2 & 3 of Chariot.
Yuko is available on Wed, Sat day time.
5/6 Temperance – Exchange Student
*Requires Academic Rank 2.
*Flag: Need to meet with the student during Hierophant Rank 3 event.
The student is in the club room accessible from the 2nd-floor corridor. He’s available on Tue, Wed, and Fri the daytime.
5/6 Hanged Man – Maiko
*Flag: You must buy a Mad Bull and Weird Takoyaki. Talk to Maiko with them on 5/6 or later to initiate the social link.
She’s at the park next to the shrine, available on Mon, Wed, Sat daytime.
*Note: Maiko will be one of the lost victims in Tartarus. You can read about her missing on 10/21 at the police station. You have to rescue her on the 149th floor by 11/3 or this social link will be locked.
5/7 Justice – Fushimi Chihiro
*Requires Emperor Rank 1 or above
*Flag: Talk to Chihiro on three separate days. Talk again on the fourth day.
She’s available on Tue, Thu, Sat daytime.
5/14 Tower – Mutatsu
*Requires Courage Rank 4
*Flag: When Strength reaches rank 4, talk to Yuko and she’ll talk about a drinking monk. Then on 5/14, visit the bar at the mall. Finish the order for the bar tender, then talk to the monk.
The monk is available on Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun night time.
5/23 Devil – Shopping Channel Host
*Requires Charm Rank 2
*Flag: Talk to Hermit after rank 4 to learn about this host. Visit him at the mall and pay him on three different days, 20000, 10000, and 10000 yen.
