This may cost you some money but it is the fastest solution that really works!

VPN is the solution!

Seriously,just use a good VPN (I recommend NordVPN) and keep switching between available servers until you find a download speed that matches your internet speed (I have 1gbps download and the most I got using VPN was 500mbps download).

But why is that?

For some reason the microsoft servers are either overloaded or have a very bad routing between most internet providers in the world. When using a VPN you will be opting for a change of internet route and therefore Microsoft will throw your download to the server that best fits your route and hope he is not overloaded, if it is just look for another server available in your VPN (remember to start with the servers in your country).

This was a quick guide without any information about changing your O.S. or commands in the command promp and it was the only method I found to download as fast as possible in Flight Simulator 2020. Another tip I give: IF YOU NEED SPACE IN YOUR STORAGE, DO NOT EXCLUDE MSFS2020 HAHA.
