Installation

Go to the folder where you installed the game. You can find the folder here:

Right Click Icewind Dale in Steam –> Property -Local files –>Browse

*Download m_AI.BS:

*Then, put the .BS file into “\script” folders

In my case, it is”F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition\scripts”

You can open the file with Notepad.

*It’s a universal AI script that can be used by any class. This script can be assigned to all six player characters.

Modifying the Character’s Behavior of the Player

Choose the character of the player you wish to configure

*Press “D”, to set the default weapon on a PC. This PC will always employ melee or ranged weapons by default

*Press “F” to toggle whether a PC will automatically alter its weapon in accordance with the enemy’s resistance that they are fighting. For instance that a PC is an archer, who uses an archer’s longbow however, they are fighting an Ice Golem, which has 50 percent resistance to missile damage, and 25 percent resistance to Slashing and Piercing damage The archer will change to a melee weapon, if they have one.

*Press “G” to select whether your PC will be running to help if their HP drops below a certain percentage. There are four options: 75%, 50 25%, 75% and Never.

*Press “S”, to switch whether or the PC follows their co-workers. If this option is enabled, a computer will always follow a PC in the previous slot of the group, following its sequence.

*Press “Z” to access skills related to class (still in development), such as Bard Song, Hide, Search Trap, and so on.
