Who are the furries?

It is important to mention that the furry community is infinitely diverse and includes all kinds of animals, real and mythical, and no animal is more or less significant than the others. 
 
At the same time, the most popular fursona species are wolf, red and gray fox, dragon, domestic cat, tiger, dog, ku rabbit, kitsune, lion, raccoon, leopard, coyote, horse, and river otter. 
 
 
 

What activities are there?

The main event for people who are interested in furry is “FurCon” , but in spite of this, many other different events are also organized throughout Europe and North America. For example: “Anthrocon”, “Midwest FurFest” and “Eurofurence”.

1.Is being a furry just a sexual fetish? 
 
No, however, as with any other fan interest (video games, comics, etc.). Of course, there are also sexual themes. While sexual activity with other furry creatures is part of a subculture for some, others maintain a non-erotic interest in the subject. 
 
Hype tends to be exposed to images in the media that overestimate the sexual aspect of fandom and present it in an unflattering image. 
 
2.Do Furries think they’re animals? 
 
Quite a difficult question. Thanks to an analysis from the Vox news site, it was reported that every 3rd participant in the survey considered himself a person not 100%. A small proportion (between 8% and 14%) said it made a physical difference, and many others claim they are not completely like ordinary people mentally or spiritually. Approximately 38% to 53% report wanting to be in a “non-human” image if they have the chance.
