Don’t Starve – Guide on How to Kill Pugalisk in Don’t Starve

Basic things

 
1.Preparation: 
-Food (Any monster food and normal food) 
-Armor (If there would be anything hostile near you) 
-Weapons (If there would be anything hostile near you) 
-Healing items (When you get hurt from hostile mobs or the boss) 
 
2.Setup: 
-Make sure that there is nothing to get you stuck (Like coners) 
-Before summoning pugalisk first eat some monster food (I said “some” because you don’t want to be stuck for a whole day in Wilbas were form to just lose all your abilities) 
 
3.The fight: 
-Wait for pugalisk exposed skin 
-Get to the exposed skin and attack 
-If the exposed skin is somewhere else then think where it might be then and strike 
-Freezing attack makes you get frozen and can be avoidable by running (including every mob expect pugalisk) 
-The bite does 200 damage to mobs but 150 to players 
-The tail swing attack does 100 damage to mobs but 50 to players 
-Ground pound does 22.5 damage to every mob (including the player) 
 
4.The loot: 
-Drops 6-16 monster meat 
-Drops 42-55 snake bones 
-Drops 22-46 bone shards 
-Drops 0-3 red gems 
-Drops 0-3 blue gems 
-Drops 1-4 spoiled fish 
-Leaves petrifying bones that can be dugged up with claws/shovel for pugalisk skull 
 
5.Have fun with loot 
 
 

Tips

 
You can run away from the pugalisk from limited distance but make sure you do not make him disapear (That is all folks lol)
