Alisa doesn't recognize your gamepad. Take a look at these!
 

Introduction

"Alisa", a great game, can be played with a few (XBOX gamepads, such as).
 
 
Gamers complained about the inability to play this game using other controller models. My problem is not the normal way to set D-PAD or Triggers for actions (, maybe it's an error, but it's still).
 
 
It inspired me to create this tutorial.
 
 
Yes, we will require the XPADDER.
 
 
 

Setup the Xpadder

Xpadder is a keyboard emulator for (and) videogame controllers. It will allow you to play any PC game using your beautiful gamepad, not just Alisa.
 
 
You will need to search for the Xpadder and find it yourself. It's easy to locate, don't worry.
 
 
Then, you will need to place it somewhere and then open it.
 
 
This is what you will see:
 
 

 
 
Click "New" as Xpadder asks to create layout (keys emulation). It will open the (keys setup) window.
 
 

 
 
1 – Optional image. I've made a small pack of images (Xbox360, Xbox One, PS), you can grab it here (mediafire .com/file/z5uqsbh7hdlndz1/Alisa+gamepads.7z). You can also download images of controllers from the Internet. You can leave it blank.
 
 

 
 
2 – Sticks. Press "Enabled" if you have them on the gamepad. Then press the sticks button as Xpadder requests. The circle (stick image will then appear. Move it onto your image. Sticks are not required. You can ignore this tab and move on to the next.
 
 
3 – DPad. This is WASD/Arrows. You can press "Enabled" to perform any operation that Xpadder asks you to.
 
 
4 – Buttons. Press all buttons on your controller. Triggers are not countable, they won't appear. Place the button symbols on your image.
 
 
5 – Triggers. Same as before.
 
 
After that, click "OK".

Key emulation setup

This is how the default keyboard keys look like:
 
 

 
 
Do not change this, leave it as it is.
 
 
Now, take a look at the Xpadder. Those blank buttons are white. Click on them. For example, press the "B" button. The PC keyboard will appear. Now, choose the key that "B" will emulate. It will be Left Shift for me. So I'll press Left Shift. I'll press Left Shift to activate the "X" button. Etc.

This is it! Now you can save your Xpadder settings, and then run the game. You can now play it with your gamepad.
