You might not have the achievement for all notes or you forgot some lore items. This guide covers everything, but it does not contain any spoilers (.)

Introduction

This guide will mainly be a slideshow with images to show you all the note locations for the achievement. However, because they are rich in story details, I decided that an extra section for optional items (and not notes) would be more useful for juicy story detail as well as world building.

I tried to show the locations in chronological order (needed notes only), but it is possible to cancel a note if the order is wrong (, so the aquatic section will be the only one I will provide map indicators.)

I won’t cover any of the story content within them. I also made an effort to capture screenshots of these locations with the surrounding environment as intact and as close to the original as possible to minimize spoilers. Because I believe the camera angles and locations of the game are very distinct, I will keep the map as uncharted. You won’t have any trouble estimating the location of the game without map data.

Remember that to get all the notes you need a specific gameplay modified run (. If you have plans to do multiple achievements in the same run, it won’t work.

Be careful! To grab all those notes, you will need this item so make sure to keep it!

Let’s get on with it! This Alisa (, who gained too many insights), will now be in the pickup spots to all notes. Keep your Edmiston’s Teeth Stone handy and pay extra attention to what you do in the Underground / Aquatic sections (. There will be text and additional images to a*sist you.)

This should be enough for everyone! I will be very hardpressed if the Achievement is not achieved at this point. If you don’t, you either skipped one or didn’t get them in the exact same run. As of the writing of this, all Achievements are obtainable. I don’t know of any bugs.

Extra Lore

The next section will be a brief listing of Items with Lore Interest. These are mostly at the beginning of the game with one exception at the end. I don’t want the beans to so speak so I will leave these partially uncovered. You can discover these yourself for better immersion.

You can open the start menu and take a loot to your items at the beginning of the game.

I recommend you look around soon after that, Jean-Francois (that guy with the toothpick!) You should search for clues in the vicinity before you follow the tracks JF discovered.

Did you find anything that was of interest to you?

You can now head to the town and look for more clues. If you find any pictures as you enter a house, JF will tell you “I leave it to you then.”

It makes you wonder who the owner of the house is.
