Bloodlines

The description of Bloodlines says mounted units receive the bonus, not only Stable units. So Bloodlines doesn’t only help units from Stables, but also Cavalry archers and several unique units like boyars, conqs or the ballista elephants this post is about.
Actually, a lot of upgrades help units from different buildings.

mounted seage unit

They are a mounted siege unit. If they were a generic unit they would come from the siege workshop. Even though aoe is inconsistent here since they can be converted without redemption which makes them besides their insanely low dps the absolut worst unit in the game.
