.First I will put the main uses of the stone reserves and then I will put what for me are the 5 most useful uses in each region.
Allows us to scare off wolves (by placing us behind them).
They allow us to scale them and reach unreachable points normally
And they allow us to access the same loot a from different levels of depth.
.I will use these principles to venture into an adventure of using tricks to give me stones, spawn animals, bug me and take pictures.
And in this way I will tell you what are the best uses (in my opinion) of the stone reserves in each region.
Most probably, it will be sometimes better to leave a reserve on a road to scare off wolves, than some of the ones I will name.
The idea is to group the most creative and crazy ideas of stone reserves.
Which are the best ones?
.I will go grouping from the best region for stone reserves , to the worst. for example number 1 will have more useful stone reserves than number 2 and so on.
Also, within each region, I will show each stone reserve from the best to the worst in the same way.
Now I will tell you the regions from best to worst stone reserves in case you need to know how good are the reserves where you are:

1-Hushed River Valley
Cache 1 Cave with bushes (HRV)
he bushes partially block the entrance, allowing us to enter from the left or right of them.
We will block the bushes on the left (of the image) with a cache.
The animals will not enter as there are errors in their phatfinding.
Cache 2 Hushed River Cave (HRV)
If we follow the hushed river, we will find this cave.
We simply block it and enter from the sides.
Cache 3 Valley Cave(HRV)

Cache 4 Unnamed cave north-west of the map (HRV)
Same idea as the previous ones
Cache 5 Unnamed Cave, east of the previous one (HRV)
It is located east of cache 4
All the brown caves in this region are lockable, but I chose especially those mentioned, since I think there are very few predators in the monolith lake, I chose this region as the best, because the caches ensure a total of 5 possible shelters of very high quality.
Cache 1 (PV)(East of the radio tower)
This cache is special, compared to the others.
The entrance is blocked, but there is no way to enter.
The solution I found is to place the cache in such a way that you can only enter by crouching on the left side.
To place it properly, it requires several attempts. Stay crouched on the left side and place it as close to you as possible.
If you are not pushed by the cache and you cannot stand , congratulations , you have a very good base in a cave.
Cache 2 (PV) (Cave to the south of the Three strike farmstead)
It is a cave that can be blocked by a stone cache.
To enter the cave, you have to follow the drawn route.
To get out, there is no problem
Cache 3 (PV)(Cave east of thomson’s crossroads)
Same idea as above
Cache 4 (PV) (Derilect cabins)
A cache blocks the entrance, only allowing us to enter crouched down.
Animals are not allowed to pass through these areas
Cache 5 (PV) (Destroyed hut behind the birch forest)
There is a hut like the one in post 4, behind the birch forest.
Cache 1 and 2 (MT) (Paradise meadows farm)
We will place two stone Cache, one at each entrance. The entrance on the right (next to the tractor). We will place it well centered, so that neither you nor the wolves can cross it.
The entrance on the right must have a margin for you to pass. Otherwise, it is impossible to exit or enter the workshop without collapsing the caches.
Cache 3 (MT) (Mountain glade)
It is possible to descend from the cave to the clearing, but not the other way around.
A stone cachewill allow us to exchange resources from the upper and lower zones, being this cache a link between the upper and lower zones.
Cache 4 (MT) Hermit’s cabin
The hermit’s hut , located in the milton basin can serve as a makeshift shelter.
A well-placed stone cache , gives us immunity against animals seeking to attack us.
This can be extremely useful to perform a multitude of actions safe from predators.
And only having to light the stove (in front of the hut), for warmth needs.
cache 5 (MT) (Bear of spruce falls)
There is a car , near the end of the spruce falls , which is diagonal to the bridge. If we place a stone cache in the free hole, we have a perfect space to spread meat and attract our bear friend.
The cache makes it impossible for the bear to reach us, allowing us to place a clean shot without risk.
Cache 1 Cannery Dock(BI)
If we put this reserve in the dock next to the workshop. We will be able to transfer objects to the workshop , without the need to do parkour to deliver the objects.
Cache 2 loading , descent of the upper zone , without rope (BI)
To place the reserve , we will have to do a little goat.
It will help us to move objects minimizing the risk of sprain if you want to use the goat method.

Cache 3 barrier of the cannery (BI)
In the first building, we carefully place this reserve, if we do it well, we can easily enter and leave doing tricks
Cache 4 Second barrier of the cannery (BI)
Behind the previous reserve , we place this other one , if we do it well, we can enter crouching down and get out sneaking through the barrels.
Cache 5 Trees in the upper zone (BI)
There are these three beautiful trees in the upper area of the cannery, near where several gray wolves appear.
It is very useful for protection against wolves.
The reserves of stones can be refilled with the stones that you have left over, in case you need to lower the morale of the wolf packs with stones.
Cache 1 Cave near the hunting lodge (BR)
It does not need much explanation , it is a blockade with stones , we get in from one side.
Cache 2 Breaking and Entering (BR)
It is recommended to kill the bear and steal its cave, placing the stone cache in it.
I already confirmed that the new bear does not spawn inside the cave. So, calm down.
Cache 3 , Between Bushes (BR)
This zone , is located before the decarbonization of the trunks.
If we place the stone cache, so that it blocks the obvious entrance, we will have a very good shelter.
Cache 4 Under a tree, at one end of the lake (BR)
This cache will only allow us to enter and exit crouching, giving protection against wildlife.
Cache 5 behind a tree (BR)
This tree will protect us from wind and predators, the bad thing is that the space that remains is a little narrow.
Cache 1 and 2 , defenses to the Angler’s Den (AC)
This will prevent the wolves from being able to harass us from 2 of the 4 possible positions surrounding the den
Cache 3 Miner’s folly (AC)
It will protect us from the bear that surrounds this area.
And we will be able to use the workbench if we do it as far inside the workshop as possible.
Cache 4 Rabbit killing zone (AC)
Very close to the rabbit spawn , we can place the stone cache.
It will protect the area above the rock very well.
Cache 5 Shattered house (AC)
Near the fishing area of the region, we will find this shattered house.
If we place the rock well we will be well sheltered.
Cache 1 The moose wall (TWM)
Have you ever been chased by a moose and it gets into the mountaineer’s hut and destroys it. I have never, but there are those who have had it happen to them.
Since leaving the door open leaves room for the animals to enter, placing a stone cache makes the hut 100% secure.
You just have to make sure that you do not place it in such a way that it absolutely blocks the entrance, the idea is to be able to pass through it by crouching down.
Cache 2 Cave upstream of the crystal lake (TWM)
There is a cave located to the right, in the first level of height going up the river that feeds the lake.
Similar to the one located in the gentle lake, in the radio tower, the cache should be placed so that it can only be accessed by crouching down.
This allows protection against a bear that usually roams this area, as well as a good heat bonus.
Cache 3 Deer Clearing (TWM)
Actually, this cache was better before the as canyon was included.
It blocks the cave from the outside, you can enter by climbing the walls.
And you can get out easily
All caves (which give heat bonus, in this region can be potentially safe).
The forest cave, like the waterfall cave, has rocks at the bottom that can be climbed on, so that animals do not attack you.
The cave in the middle of the path between the gorge and the deer clearing is a warmth bonus cave like the others. It has a stone “platform” that can be climbed and is safe.
Cache 4 Rabbit area (TWM)
If we place the stone cache right in the very small space allowed under the plate, we can stand behind it and be safe while skinning rabbits or picking up traps.
It is not really difficult, just spam click , while we move the cache to turn green.
Cache 5 Engine (TWM)
This one and the next one are more beautiful than useful , being both , next to caves with interiors.
Who said that there is only 1 man-made shelter in this region. With a stone cache, you can live inside the engine, up the river.
Animals can’t attack you if you put the cache in the middle, not because of blocking, but because their pathfinding is confused.
Cache 1 Spence shed (FM)
The advantage of the cache is that it blocks between the barrels, and allows us to store meat, for example, to cook it in the fire barrel.
Cache 2 The derail (FM)
It is very easy to place, it is located on the right side (seen from the mystery lake to the wrecked track) of the tracks, it is located near the exit to the wrecked track and gives a lot of space.
It is placed between the tip of the fallen tree and the derailed wagon, you can check if it is well placed, if you can only get out crouching.
Cache 3 Mini-cave (FM)
On the way through the swamp, we will find a small island with a small cave.
If we go as deep as possible (crouching down), we can be attacked. Unless we have this cache in place.
Cache 4 Piece of ice (FM)
It’s quite close to the poacher’s shelter, it’s a piece of ice, which we will use as protection against wind and predators.
Just place the cache before the withered bush.
Cache 5 Lookout glitched Tree (FM)
It is the tree located in the viewpoint of the swamp (next to a radio tower).
It is hollow and allows us to place a cache of stone to finish closing it.
How do we enter? It is bugged on the left side of the image. We can cut through a small part of the tree.
9- Coastal Highway
Cache 1 In a van in the quonset workshop (CH)
Putting a cache of stone , will allow us to hunt moose , bears and wolves if we have them nearby , without being attacked.
We can attract predators if we want , using stinky objects .
Caches 2 and 3 (Marked R) Hunting caches (CH)
There is a type of house of which can spawn between 2 and 4 per game, allowing us to hunt in them
2 are secured , going up the coastal village. And on the bear island.
2 are possible, one in the coastal village and the other in the riverside cottages.
All of them are useful, since they cross bear trails and allow us to hunt them safely.
Cache 4 The tusk or the tusk collapse (CH)
In the tusk, you can place a cache, leaving us a small space safe from wildlife.
If you find it too small or you prefer company , right next to the tusk mountain (very close) you can place a stone cache to have a mini shelter with a frozen friend.
Cache 5 Collapse near the ravine (CH)
Just below the bridge overlooking the gorge, we can place a cache of stone to have this mini-shelter. bear-proof.
Cache 1 Deadfall area (ML)
The stone cache is an additional barrier to the collision caused by the cheat grove.
The idea is to leave as little space as possible to enter , the wolves cannot correct their route in such a small space.
Cache 2 Unnamed ridge (ML)
A ridge, located off to the left when trying to climb the radio tower.
A well-placed cache, next to the tree, will prevent animals from crossing, due to the steepness of the slope.
We will be able to enter and exit without any problems.
Cache 3 Behind the sign of the destroyed tower (ML)
If we place the cache well , we can enter and exit , by crouching down.
The animals can not cross this kind of zones.
Cache 4 Frozen creek tree (ML)
At the top of the frozen creek , there is a giant tree lying on top of the frozen creek .
If we place this cache , between its branches , we will have protection from all angles , and given the shape of the tree , we can get out easily .
To enter, you have to go around the tree.
Cache 5 Fallen tree to the south of the previous one (ML)
Same principle, this tree is located south of the previous one.
Cache 1 Hibernia docks (DP)
In the dock area of the factory , we will locate the cache , maybe it serves to pass in a safe place the risk of claustrophobia.
Cache 2 the collapse (DP)
If we follow the path of the road. At the end near the exit of the region , we will find these trees lying on the road.
If we place the cache on the edge of the indicated tree (The protuberance that you can see are stones), we can sneak behind without being attacked.
Cache 3 Cornice (DP)
Between the mine and the stone church there are 2 cornices that will save us against animal attacks.
Both are located on the opposite side of the mountain.
The first one is connected by a path that is so narrow that we don’t even need to place a cache.
The second, (where we will place the cache), is wider, but sloping at the entrance. If we place the cache, somewhat close to the right, it will prevent the animals from attacking us, since they avoid jumping over the terrain.
Cache 4 Cart (DP)
Let’s place a cache in the corner of the cart , to prevent wolves from getting on. Or if we are running away from them.
Cache 5 In the middle of the road (DP)
If we place this cache very well, it will make the wolves have to make big jumps to reach you, which will scare them away or divert their path.
Note: The truth is that desolation point has in general very bad locations where to place caches, (Compared to other regions).
