I made this guide because the seeds I found online didn’t work for me, so maybe they’re outdated or the game changed how the seeds work in some later update. Hopefully this helps someone else.

Changing seed

In order to change your world seed, you need to have unlocked the Scientist.

To unlock him, poison any air filtration system 5 times with consumables (such as Electro Pills, Critter Upper, etc). Poison the same system 5 times also works.

Speak to him in your Home Base to change your seed.

The Best Around (Downtown Arena)

Seed: xkqnpzwl

 

1. Change your seed to the one above by talking to the Scientist in Home Base (he needs to be unlocked).
2. Choose a character with strong Melee skills. I used my custom character Lupin

   (click for workshop link) – [steamcommunity.com] .
    

   

3. If you have the elevator for Uptown unlocked, you can use that.

   If you don’t, you can disable the areas you don’t need via the Mutators in Home Base.

4. Go to the Arena at the bottom left of Downtown stage 1, it’s the building with a wrestler in the middle.
    

   

5. Talk to the Jock at the reception and sign up for the fight.
    

   

6. Speak to the bouncer, walk into the ring and neutralise the Wrestler.
    

   

   It still works if you keep your weapon but switch to Melee before walking into the ring but the Jock and Bouncer turns hostile.

 

True Believer (Uptown Satellite, Alien)

Seed: xkqnpzwl

 

1. Change your seed to the one above by talking to the Scientist in Home Base (he needs to be unlocked).
2. For this achievement, you need a character that:

   – Has the Tech Expert trait

   – Has a Wrench, Hacking Tool or Laptop.

   – Has the combat ability to clear out the Satellite Building of its inhabitants.
    

   Due to the last requirement, I chose to make a strong AND non-overpowered custom character instead of using the Hacker. I also used the Infinite Ammo mutator.
    

   

3. If you have the elevator for Uptown unlocked, you can use that.

   If you don’t, you can disable the areas you don’t need via the Mutators in Home Base.

4. Go to the Satellite Building at the top left of Uptown stage 1.
    

   

5. Clear out the inhabitants.
    

   

6. Interact with the Satellite using the Wrench, Hacking Tool or Laptop.
    

   

7. Overload the Satellite via the nearby computer.
    

   

 

Peaceful Takeover

In order to get this achievement, you have to obtain the hat by either:

 

1. Asking him
2. Threatening him
3. Buying the hat for $4920 with Art of the Deal
4. Pickpocketing him

You can choose to play as a Thief or Merchant.

I decided to make a custom character that specialises in Threatening:

Things that will help:

 

• Using Hypnotiser Mark II on the mayor will boost your success rate of asking or threatening for the hat.
• Quick Game mutator will make it so that you only need to pass through 2 levels per area instead of 3.
• Continue? mutators lets you retry if you die or fail. This is especially useful if asking, threatening or pickpocketing the hat didn’t work.
• If you have Uptown’s elevator unlocked, use that as well.

  If you don’t, just disable every Area except the Slums in the Mutators.
