Red Dead Redemption 2 – How to fix unable to open collectors maps

Recently, I’ve been having issues with the collector maps. The lamp (metal detector was also broken. These are some problems you may face in RDR2 Red Dead Redemption 2.

1. START the game, then go to SETTINGS. Turn off the AUTO SAVE. You can exit the game.

2. Go to C:\Users\You\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings – and DELETE everything but the ‘system.xml’.

3. Go to C:\Users\You\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\CC9AD308 – and DELETE everything but KeyMappings (you can delete these as well if you do not have a custom key mapping).

4. START the game When asked if you want to sync, select NO. START the game, calibrate BRIGHTNESS, click ENTER, and then EXIT the game.

5.Go to C:\Users\You\Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Profiles\CC9AD308 and DELETE ‘cloudsavedata.dat’.

6. START the game, enable cloud saving data and choose between local or cloud save.

7. Enjoy 😉
