This guide will teach you how to fuel a vessel. These concepts will be applicable to both boats and aircraft.

Refueling your boat

A fuel connector is the first item you will need to refuel.

Note: Fuel connectors cannot be attached directly to a tank.

Next, you’ll need a fuel source. Right now, that means the fuel tank mounted at Portus (there’s also one on the runway). You need at least 1 fuel connector item, the yellow one, in order to use this fuel source.

To make the connection, you can use interaction-mode. Start by selecting the fuel container on the dock.

Once you have done this, you can attach the cable to your boat’s fuel connector.

Note: A fuel connection that is not valid will cause the fuel cable to not appear. This can occur if the cable becomes too long or becomes physically blocked. If the cable is physically broken, it will result in fueling being cut off.

Once this is done fueling will begin. Fuel will be transferred according to the direction in which the connection was established (Fuel tanks -> Boat or Fuel tank). Now, you can connect fuel connectors from any vessel to make refueling operations like tanker or boat to boat.

Note: In campaign, fuel transfers cost shells

You can remove the fuel cables after you are done with refueling. It will then be returned to your inventory.
