1. Go to Xbox official website: Change username – [xbox.com] 
 
2. Don’t create new account. Instead, sign in to Xbox with your Minecraft Dungeons account.
 
3. If your desired username already exists, your username will contain #numbers like Steve#1234. And, #numbers will appear in game. If you find a unique username, it won’t have #numbers, so just Steve.
 
4. You can change your username once for free, but you pay $10 every time for changing it again.
