Achievement Guide

 

No True Death

The Cavern of Flames is a place to die and respawn.

Either make Morgan fall to death or climb into the Cavern Of Flames’ circular fiery pit.

Dream Warrior

Complete the first adventure

Play and complete your first adventure. Easy!

Malleable Dreams

Recast an adventure

You can go through the Deep Gate to open the Map. Hover on a location to see the options to start it or recast it. Simply recast it.

The Sleeper Awakens

30 free trapped souls

Most adventures end with ghostly apparitions or souls that Morgan will talk to. Then they are freed. This achievement can be achieved by completing adventures.

Thread the Needle

Critically hit enemies 500 times.

Critical hits are achieved by hitting the blue circle on enemies. This can be stealth kills or during combat. You can dodge, enter the slow time mechanic, and then hit or shoot will help a lot.

Magi of the First Order

Learn 8 Spells

You can unlock spells by either purchasing them from the Vending Machine or as a reward for adventures. This achievement can be unlocked by completing adventures.

Look for it, and you will find it

25 hidden chests

Cartographer

Explore 5 maps

Maps can be purchased from vending machines or as a reward for adventures. They are also unlocked when you get a Zoog. This achievement can be unlocked by completing adventures.

Avid Reader

Completed 4 storybooks

Random books are scattered throughout adventures. They are often named after Lovecraft’s works and provide lore to the stories. You unlock one part of each story book for every book you find. This achievement can be achieved by completing adventures.

Force User

Telekinesis can kill 20 enemies.

Morgan will use telekinesis if you don’t have secondary/ranged weapons. Morgan will throw rocks if you hold your aim button. This achievement is easy to achieve – Critical hits with telekinesis are usually just one hit kills.

One Soul

Astral Projection is not required to complete an adventure.

Although this can be difficult, you will need to keep trying. It all depends on the adventure’s world generation, the placement of keys, levers, etc.

This was a good thing because I only had to disarm a trap before I could get in.

Untouchable

Complete an adventure without causing any damage

To avoid enemies, you should use spells like Shadow Step, Charm, Invisibility, and Invisibility to avoid encounters. It can be not easy because most adventures end in a boss/Eidolon encounter. However, some end in ambush. During this you can avoid taking damage as long as you use spells and ranged weapons and keep your distance.

This was a Ghoul Adventure. About 20 Feral Ghouls attacked me at the end. I flew around and used an SMG to shoot them all down.

As you progress through the Dream Cycle adventure, you will gain experience and unlock stronger spells that will make achievement hunting and gameplay more enjoyable and easier.

Big Spender

Items for as low as 10,000 gold

This will allow you to buy more items.

Delver of Mysteries

Finish 1 story about an anomaly

Adept of Mysteries

Finish 3 stories about anomalies

Phone boxes, arches, and mechanical balls

Blur

Finish 1 level below the par time

Speed Runner

Finish 5 levels below the par time

The par time is usually between 10-20 minutes. To achieve this achievement, you need to play fast, skip encounters, and avoid enemy players, and you will be able to unlock it quickly.

I finish on par, even with difficult encounters and platforming. Good luck!

Shadow Mage

Complete 1 level without being detected

Ghost

You can complete 5 levels without being detected.


These requirements are almost identical to those for the Untouchable achievement.

The detection arc is a semi-circular white shape that you see when you are near enemies. As long as it does not turn red, you will remain undetected.

To avoid enemies, you can use spells like Charm, Invisibility, and Shadow Step to get around encounters.

This can be difficult because most adventures end in a boss/Eidolon encounter, but some can end with an ambush. As long as you deal effectively with all enemies in your vicinity so that they are not alerted and detected, this should be the best chance you have to achieve this.

As you progress through the Dream Cycle adventure, you will gain experience and unlock stronger spells that will make achievement hunting and gameplay more enjoyable and easier.

It is important to remember that ambushes and the final boss/Eidolon fight DO NOT count as being detected! These are not possible situations, and you will not be punished with a Detection status.

 

You can track your adventure stats by pressing the Tab/View button/Touchpad(?), which also includes the Detection status.
