In this guide i’ll be guiding you through the process of giving more life and flavour to your OC (Original Character), mainly on the looks side. Hopefully it will help you to imagine what kind of adventures your character will go through!

Tools you need

 

To start we’re gonna need only one tool to resize your avatar picture, this can be any version of Photoshop or any other tool you can find online like:

• www.adobe.com – https://www.adobe.com/express/feature/image/crop

Currently the game only supports PNG squares with a limit of 30KB

Time to create

 

Here are some sites and examples of what you can do with them. You can also draw it yourself or comission it but then, why are you reading this guide?

  Picrew it’s a wonderful site to start and you could explore it for hours, there’s a lot of artists and styles to choose from. The site it’s mainly in Japanese but easy to understand, just pick whatever catches your eyes on another tab and create your OC. When you’re finished,click the Green Button with a checkmark and then the Pink-ish Button to download your creation. (If you want to start over, simply click the Dice Button and the the little Bomb icon)

That’s all really.

 

Sadly we lost a lot of character creators due to the discontinuation of Flash but there’s still plenty of tools to use. You could always use more advanced software provided by Steam, go wild on Blender, etc.
Hope that this guide was useful and remember:There’s no limits for your OC’s, create all you want until you’re satisfied and don’t get frustrated if you don’t find the correct tools, create something unique that stands out and represents your character.
