Choose Wisely – [EN] Achievements and some puzzles Guide

Intro

 
This guide is focused on 175 monsters killed achievement including pictures with all of their location. It also includes some guides for puzzles some people could get stuck on, some tips and location of some of the hidden rooms.

175 monsters location

 
After You make Your first choice concerning characters and leave the first room, go back into it. You will find 3 mobs there. 
 
 
After killing 3 mobs proceed to the second room shown in the screenshot. There are 4 more mobs. 
 
 
After killing all the mobs there go back to the room You entered after Your first choice. There are 6 mobs. 
 
 
In the hidden room there are 4 mobs. 
 
 
Go back and enter the room in top right part of the previous room. There are 5 mobs and You have to push the rock as shown for the doors in previous room to open. 
 
 
After exiting through the door You’ll be out in a garden. There are 5 mobs, You have to use the lever in bottom left corner of the map to deactivate spikes to access 1 mob. 
 
 
After proceeding through the ladder there is 1 mob and a chain You have to pull to unlock the door in the garden. 
 
 
After exiting the garden You’ll find 7 mobs in the next room. Note that 3 mobs marked with blue dot will spawn after You’ll kill 1 mob which is blocking the way to the exit. 
 
In the room to the left there are 3 mobs. 
 
 
In the room to the right there are 3 mobs as well. 
 
 
After exiting that area You’ll find a priestess which unfortunately counts for the achiev and You have to kill her. Before the fight You can take her blessing which will restore all Your characters stats. She’ll drop a key which You have to use behind her marked on the top right. It will unlock the gate in the room marked at the bottom. 
 
You have to go to the statue marked on the screen and then go back upstairs and go to the painting on the left. 
 
 
In the passage there is a hidden room with a ring that protects You from some debuffs, it’s worth taking for free. 
 
In the next room there are 3 mobs and a knight that You have to use to unlock the doors. Proceed to the room market with left arrow. 
 
Kill the 5 mobs and proceed to the room marked with down arrow. 
 
There are 6 mobs and a woman that You have to kill. There is also a room on the bottom with multiple flames that will give You some pills. 
 
Proceed to the room that was marked with up arrow. There will be 3 mobs. 
 
In the next room there will be 5 mobs and a man that You have to kill. After You do that go to the room on the bottom. 
 
There will be 5 mobs and a stone You have to push as shown, then pull the lever and push the stone further so You can cross. Interact with the pages on the floor, go back upstairs and interact with the bookshelf marked on previous screenshot. 
 
In the next room there will be 4 mobs. 
 
In the room downstairs there will be 2 mobs, a lever You have to pull then go back upstairs, go downstairs again interact with the shield on the wall and go upstairs again. 
 
Outside there will be one mob, after You finish sleeping in a tent go down and kill it. 
 
 
There will be 2 mobs after You go inside the door on the left in location with tents. 
 
 
In the top left room there are 3 mobs. 
 
 
In the top right room there are 3 mobs as well. 
 
 
3rd marked room is optional and it only contains some consumable items. 
Proceed to the next room, there will be 5 mobs and a group of NPCs You’ll have to fight that counts towards this achievement. 
 
 
 
This image shows first part of orcs hideout in which there are 13 mobs. Proceed to the room in top left corner. 
 
In the area in top left corner there are 8 mobs. 
 
In the next part of the caves there are 11 mobs. There is also an item marked with green circle that prevents choosen character from dying in throne room which is useful if You want to be sure that You get the ending with exact character. 
 
After proceeding to the area marked with blue circle which is mandatory to progress, there are 3 mobs. 
 
 
Getting out of the caves You will find Yourself in another garden. There are 9 mobs and 2 NPCs You fought earlier. You have to fight them again as it counts for the achievement. There is a ring near the river I marked with blue circle and next to it there’s a grave and firepit You have to light after inspecting the grave. 
 
In the next room there are 10 mobs. 
 
 
In this room there is 1 mob. 
 
In the room on the bottom left there are 3 mobs. 
 
 
In the next area there is 1 mob and 2 rooms on both sides of the map. 
 
In the room on the right there are 4 mobs. 
 
 
In the room on the left there are 3 mobs. 
 
 
In this room the mob spawns after You try to exit the forest area and backtrack to the room on the left for key item. 
 
 
This is the room on the left where You have to get the key item. There are 8 mobs. 
 
 
In the forest area 1 mob spawns after You return with key item. 
 
 
Congratulations You made it to the last room. There are 6 mobs. 
 
 
 

Tips for achievements that require finishing with each character.

 
Make sure You have a specific save slot and save the game before You choose the item in throne room. In throne room one random character always dies and You can’t change who will die by loading the game. In orc hideout there is immunity totem item that I marked green circle that prevents death of the character that carries it. You can make a save on a different slot if You want to make sure that character You need to finish with will survive the throne room. Unfortunately You can’t protect Rachael and Hector as the game blocks You way to the caves so You can’t backtrack with that characters. You can’t change who’s holding the totem so make sure You choose the right character. The save in throne room before choosing items for each character can save You a lot of time. You have to give the compass to the character You want to finish the game with, all the other items don’t matter. I recommend going for character unlocks on 0/4 difficulty mode, You can do that by choosing “I want to focus on the story” at the beginning of a new game. As for the hard/mas*chi*t mode I recommend doing it on hard unless You’re really big mas*chi*t. 
 
 

Conclusion

 
This concludes my guide and my 28 hours journey for getting 100% achievements in this game. Was it worth it? No. I hated every second of the game when I realized how much of backtracking there is, how mad were the devs that they had to fill the backtracked areas in new mobs, how bad it was when game was telling me I’m close to the end only to spam all of the bosses I fought in the game previously on the final stages and how frustrated I was when I missed 3 mobs in one playthrough where I was spamming action key on every wall to make sure I won’t miss any, only to find out that 3 mobs were only spawned after killing one specific mob on the level. I hope this guide will help You if You decide You want to suffer through this just to get higher avg % and 1 more perfect game. Have fun! Now I’m uninstalling the game and I’ll never touch it again.
