BattleBlock Theater – STAR HEADS AND HOW TO UNLOCK THEM

WHAT ARE STAR HEADS?

Star heads are additional heads. They are additional because they do not play the same role as the other heads do. For instance, you don’t need all the star heads to unlock the Freedom Hero achievement (The achievment for unlocking all the heads in the game) because they are not able to be purchased from the gift shop with gems like the others. Instead, they can be unlocked by completing player- made levels. 
 
 
 

HOW ARE STAR HEADS UNLOCKED?

Every Friday, the rotation changes and a new star head is available to unlock. In the introduction, I mentioned you have to play a player-made level. every week there will be an announcement from the Behemoth Twitter page that will say the name of the level’s playlist, show what skins are unlockable and will say either “coop/ arena/ solo“.

Below I have explained how to play the levels depending on what it says 
 
COOP– For co-op, you will need someone else to join you, so I suggest inviting a friend. First go to the main menu and press “Online Play”, then press “Host Player Match”, “Furbottom’s Features” and then “Feature”. It doesn’t matter what difficulty. Make sure you complete all the levels up to the final, ENCORES DO NOT NEED TO BE COMPLETED 
 
SOLO– First go to the main menu and press “Local Play”, then press “Furbottom’s Features” and then “Feature”. It doesn’t matter what difficulty. Make sure you complete all the levels up to the final, ENCORES DO NOT NEED TO BE COMPLETED 
 
ARENA– First go to the main menu and press either “Online Play” or “Local Play”, then IF PLAYING ON “ONLINE PLAY” press “Host Player Match” then, FOR BOTH press “Arena” and choose “CO-OP ” or “VS.” and then “Feature” Make sure you complete all the levels up to the final, ENCORES DO NOT NEED TO BE COMPLETED
