Why Crewmate is so Important

Crewmate is a very reliable position to be in when playing Among Us. I think we can all agree that it takes way too long to become the Imposter; on many occasions, it has taken me hours to become Imposter. Since we play plenty of games as Crewmates, you would like most of us to be “professionals” at the role. We can all improve at being Crewmate and Imposter one way or another. Hopefully, this guide will teach you something that you can take into your own game, or maybe I missed something that you guys picked up on and hopefully put in the comment section.

WHY

Crewmate is more of an important role than you think. Yes, as crewmate, you report bodies and complete tasks, but there is much more to do than that. You could literally catch the Imposter before they have murdered anyone if you follow these tips given in the following part of the guide.

The Secret Knowledge

TIPS

1. Notice who goes into each room; do they come out?

2. If watching Cams after you finished tasks, notice if people come out of a room they never
I went in.

3. When going around and doing tasks, check-in most rooms you walk by (you might find
someone’s a dead body or even witness it.)

4. Sometimes, when people vent, you can see their color or name tag as they jump in.

5. If you are sus of someone, follow them (try not to be alone), and watch them do a task if the
taskbar goes up, most likely they are Crewmate (remember if they are taking a very long
the time they might just be waiting for another crewmate to do a task, so it looks like the bar fill is theirs).

6. Sometimes, you will notice someone running around the entire map and never stopping to do a task.

7. Some tasks (not all) have an animation, such as garbage (sometimes), Med-Bay Scan, Weapons, etc. If you know the task is meant to have an animation and it doesn’t show when someone else does the task. BOOM, You just caught someone.

8. When you have finished tasks, sit on cams or follow around a group, so it’s harder for the imposter.
