This guide will teach you all you have to know about the map The Skeld.

 

The Skeld

The Skeld is the first map in Among Us, and it takes part in a spaceship. As the round starts, everyone in the server would be gathered around the table in Cafeteria where the Emergency button is located.

You can access the MAP by either pressing on it on the top right with your mouse or pressing TAB on your keyboard; the map will look like the one below.

CAFETERIA

In Cafeteria, there are three tasks Cafeteria; the first one is on the top left part of the Cafeteria, and it’s the Fix Wiring task, which is a Common Task. The task is completed when you connect the wires’ colors with the other sides of the wires.

The second one is on the top right part of Cafeteria, and it’s the Download Data task, which is a Normal Task. The task is completed once you have successfully downloaded the data from Cafeteria and then uploaded it in the Admin room. (More about it later in the guide)

The third one is also on the top right part of the Cafeteria, and it’s the Empty Garbage task, which is a Long Task. The task is completed once you have successfully emptied both the Cafeteria task and then the trash in the Storage room. (More about it later in the guide)

Once you start moving, you have three paths where you could go, LEFT, RIGHT, and DOWN. If you head LEFT, you will come to the first room, which is called MedBay.

MEDBAY

In MedBay, there are two tasks; the first one is Medbay: Submit Scan, which is a Long Task (this task proves a player innocent as only the crewmembers can do missions, and this mission is a visual task).

The second one is Medbay: Inspect Sample, which is a Long Task. This is a two-part task, one is starting the test, and the other is choosing the anomaly(which test tube is red) (this does not prove a player innocent as this mission is not a visual task).

Now that we are done with Medbay, we move on and go left. Once you enter the next room, it will say at the bottom that you’ve entered Upper Engine.

UPPER ENGINE

There are three tasks; the first one is when you go up and then left. It is the Accept Diverted Power task, which is a NormalTask. The task is completed when you click on the battery in the middle.

The second task in Upper Engine is down and the left. It is the Fuel Engine task, which is a Long Task; for this task to be complete, we first have to head down to Storage and grab the fuel, then go back up and refuel the engine.

The third task in Upper Engine is the Align Engine Output task, which is a Long Task, which is only a two-part task, one is at the Upper Engine, and one is at the Lower Engine, which will be talked about later in the guide.

As you move on to the next part of the map, you will find a crossway; you can go left, right, or down. We will start by going left.

REACTOR

Once you enter the left side, it will say that you have entered the Reactor. In Reactor 4 tasks, 3 tasks can be given to crew members, and the imposters can sabotage 1 task.

The first task that we are going to be looking at in Reactor is the Start Reactor task, which is a Long Task; the task is a Simon Says game where you have to remember which blocks are being displayed and then click on them on the right side.

The second task in the Reactor is the Unlock Manifolds task, which is a Normal Task. To complete the task, you have to click the numbers from 1-10 in order of lowest to highest.

The third task in the Reactor is the Accept Diverted Power task, which is a Normal Task. The task is completed when you click on the battery in the middle.

The fourth task in Reactor is the Imposter Sabotage Meltdown task; the task is going to be at both sides of the Reactor room and must be completed with two people standing on both buttons; once both people are on the button, they have to click on the hand and hold whilst the other person is doing the same thing.

Going outside of the Reactor room, we are in the same hallway as before; now we will go right.

SECURITY

Once you enter the right side, it will say that you have entered Security. In Security, there are two things, a task and also cameras.

The Accept Diverted Power task is a Normal Task. The task is completed when you click on the battery in the middle.

The Cameras in Security will allow you to see four cameras, the first one(left up) will show the halls of Weapons, O2, Navigation, Shields, the second camera(right up) will show the hallway between Cafeteria, Admin, Storage, the third camera(bottom left) will show the hallway between Cafeteria and Upper Engine while showing the entrance of MedBay.

LOWER ENGINE

There are three tasks; the first one is when you go up and then left. It is the Accept Diverted Power task, which is a NormalTask. The task is completed when you click on the battery in the middle.

Once you get outside of Lower Engine, you will go right and find yourself in a hallway.

ELECTRICAL

Once you pass the hallway from Lower Engine, you will find a room named Electrical. In Electrical, there are four crewmate tasks and one sabotage task.

The first task is in the top right of the room, and it’s a timing task called Calibrate Distributor, and it is a Normal Task. To complete the task you have to time every turn of the wheel and click on the right side from top to bottom.

The second task is next to the previous one that we did; it is the Fix Wiring task, a Common Task. The task is completed when you connect the wires’ colors with the other sides of the wires.

The third task is the Accept Divided Power task, which is a Normal Task. This task is complete once you boost the only switch which is not powered to the max and then go to the second destination and connect both powers.

The fourth task is the Download Data task, which is a Normal Task. The task is complete once you download the data at Electric and then upload it at Admin(more about it later in the guide).

The Imposter Sabotage task is the Fix Light task is a task where the crewmates have the lights turned out for them, and they have to turn them back on by going to electrical and turn on the lights by turning all the switches back on so they are all green.

STORAGE

Storage is the next room that you enter as you leave Electric and go right. In Storage, there are three tasks, one of them is very important for the crewmembers as it is a visual task, and it represents that they are not an imposter.

The first task in Storage is a two-way task that we talked about before in the guide; it is the refueling task; in Storage, you get to fill the can, so you can go in Lower/Upper Engine and fill the engines. You fill the can by clicking on the right-side button.

The second task in Storage is located in the bottom right, and it is the task that will clear a crewmember. This task is called Empty Garbage, and it is a two-way task, with the first one being in Cafeteria, which we talked about before. You complete the task by going up to it, clicking and holding down on the lever on the left side.

When a crewmate does this visual task, you can see the trash going outside the ship, which means that the person that did the task is not an imposter.

ADMIN

To get to Admin, we have to go up from Storage until you see a doorway on the right (if you keep going up, you will reach Cafeteria, the room where the guide started).

In Admin, there are four tasks, three crewmember tasks, and one sabotaged task. There is also a table on which you could click, which will give you info on where everyone on the map is(Not colors, just the number of people).

The first task in Admin is the Fix Wiring task, which is a Common Task. The task is completed when you connect the wires’ colors with the other sides of the wires.

The second task in Admin is the Upload Data task, which is a Normal Task. To complete the task, you first have to have downloaded data from somewhere on the map and then go and upload it in Admin.

The third task in Admin is the Swipe Card task, which is a Common Task. To complete it, you have to go up to the right side of the table in Admin and swipe the card from left to right. Be careful not to swipe it too slow or too fast as it will give you an error, and you would have to try again.

The Sabotage task in Admin is called the No Oxy task. You have to go up to Admin’s top right side and write the code that is written on a little paper into the number. If the task isn’t done in 30 seconds, the Imposters win the game.

The Admin table’s last thing is the Admin table, which will show where everyone is on the map(Not the colors, just the number of people). It is located on the left side of the table—opposite of the Swipe Card task.

COMMUNICATIONS

Now that we have gone up from Storage, we head right, and we are met by a doorway that leads into a room called Communications.

In Communications, there are a total of three tasks, two are crewmember tasks, and one is an imposter sabotage task.

The first task in Communications is the Download Data task, which is a Normal Task. The task is complete once you download the data at Electric and then upload it to Admin(Admin is the room we visited before this one).

The second task in Communications is the Accept Diverted Power task, which is a NormalTask. The task is completed when you click on the battery in the middle.

The third task is the sabotage task, which is called FixComms and what it does is it disables call communications on the map; this includes the taskbar, the cameras in Security, and the admin table in Admin. To fix the communications and do the task, you have to spin the circle and stop when the red light is off.

SHIELDS

If you continue right when you exit Communications, you will react Shields.

There are only two tasks in Shields, but one of them is very important as it is a visual task, and it can prove a crewmember innocent.
The first task in Shields is called Prime Shields, and it is a visual task that will show that the first crewmember that has done it in the entire game is innocent. The lights will not turn off ever again for the rest of the game. To complete the task, you have to go to the bottom, left in Shields, and click on the tablet’s red spaces.

Knowing if someone is actually doing the task is if the light outside the ship lights up or not when someone is doing it.

NAVIGATION

If we continue up into the halls from Shields, we will see a doorway to the right that leads into Navigation.

In Navigation, there are four tasks.

The fourth task in Navigation is the Stabilize Steering task, which is a Normal Task. What you have to do to complete the task is to drag the scope into the crosshair.

O2

Once we continue up from Navigation, we will see a doorway that leads up and a space to the right; if we head to the right, we enter O2

O2 has four tasks, three crewmember tasks, and one imposter sabotage task.

The first task in O2 is the Clean O2 Filter task, which is a Normal task. To complete the task, you have to drag the leafs to the hole on the left side.

The second task in O2 is the Empty Chute/Filter Chute task, which is a Long Task. The way to complete it is to empty the trash of the O2 filter by holding down on the lever on the right side. The second part of the task is in Storage, where you have to empty the trash again. (More about it previously in the Storage part)

WEAPONS

The first task in Weapons is called Clear Asteroids, and it is a Long Task. It is the only visual task in the room. When a crewmember does the task there will be an animation outside the ship where the two-weapon start shooting.

To complete the task, you have to aim and click on 20 asteroids on the green screen with the crosshair.
