By default, Among Us is capped at 30 FPS. Although you cannot change the game frame rate directly, you can make it run at higher frame rates.
Turning on v-sync
You can do it by pressing the gear icon: âš™>Graphics>VSync. Make sure it’s On.
The gear icon is located at the bottom of the main menu. If you are in-game, then you can find it on the top right.
About higher frame rates
This was tested under a 60 Hz monitor. en.wikipedia.org – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screen_tearing#Vertical_synchronization. I am not aware whether 60+ Hz monitors give higher frame rates.
