This guide will show you the *best* attachments to use on certain guns and their unique functions.

Suppresor

SUPPRESSOR: Suppressors will REMOVE SMOKE TRAILS (those white lines you see) when firing a weapon, as well as REMOVE THREAT INDICATORS (the white arc you see beside your crosshair when someone’s firing at you), so maximum STEALTH, audio and visual wise. With the COST of REDUCED WEAPON DAMAGE BY 15%. It DOES NOT AFFECT RECOIL.

  • Sound Supression
  • 15% Damage Drop
  • No Recoil Reduction
  • No Threat Indicator
  • No Muzzle Flash

While I do believe the suppressor is the weakest of the 5 barrel attachments, it can have potential on certain operators’ guns. Keep in mind you should only use this barrel when performing stealth gameplay. Some guns you could use this attachment on include:

-Caviera’s M12
-Kapkan’s 9x19VSN
-Nokk’s FMG-9
-Nokk’s SIX12 SD

Know that these barrels are strictly preference and depend on play style and that the operators listed above could be expanded or condensed. They are just templates!

Muzzle Break

MUZZLE BREAK: Muzzle breaks REDUCE FIRST SHOT RECOIL(the first diamond) by 45%, and it REDUCES CENTERING TIME(time it takes for the crosshair to automatically return to its original position when firing began) by 45%.

  • First Shot Recoil Reduction of 45%
  • Recenter Reduction of 45%

Given that the muzzle break reduces first shot recoil and, therefore, reduces vertical recoil, you would want to use this barrel on semi-automatic guns such as pistols and designated marksman rifles (DMR’s). Some guns you could use this attachment on include:

-Almost every pistol
-Maverick’s AR-15.50
-Twitch’s 417
-Buck’s CAMRS
-Blackbeard’s SR-25

Compensator

COMPENSATOR: Compensators ONLY REDUCE RECOIL(size of the diamond) by 17.75%.

  • 17.75% Diamond Reduction

Contrary to the muzzle break, the compensator reduces horizontal recoil and not vertical recoil. Therefore, u should use this attachment on rifles and sub-machine guns (SMG’s) that have little vertical recoil and a lot of horizontal recoil. Some guns you could use this attachment on include:

-Sledge’s L85A2
-Jager’s 416-C Carbine

Flash Hider

FLASH HIDER: Flash hiders REDUCE FIRST SHOT RECOIL(the first diamond0 BY 37.5%, and it REDUCES CENTERING TIME(time it takes for the crosshair to automatically return to its original position when firing began) BY 30%. AS well as REDUCE RECOIL(size of the diamond) BY 5%. So it is a middle ground between the muzzle break and the compensator.

  • 37.5% First Shot Recoil Reduction
  • 30% Recenter
  • 5% Recoil Diamond

Given that the Flash Hider is the best of both worlds of recoil reduction, with minor reductions to the effects of both barrels, it is by far the most used barrel. You should use this barrel in result of 2 scenarios. If the gun has a fair amount of both vertical and horizontal recoil or if you are unsure what barrel helps the weapon the most. Some guns you could use this attachment on include:

-Bucks’s C8-SFW
-Smoke’s SMG-11
-Hibana’s Bearing 9
-Vigil’s SMG-12

Extended Barrel

EXTENDED BARREL: Extended barrels increase INCREASE LONG RANGE DAMAGE (>25m) BY 15-20%, again, it DOES NOT AFFECT RECOIL.

  • 15-20% Damage Drop Off Reduction

By far the least versatile of all the barrels and least used. The extended barrels should only be used when planning to hold far angles and/or spawn peeking.

-As of now, i do not recommend using the extended barrel on any weapons as it is entirely based on playstyle and does not affect recoil.
